Those of you who are new to my page, welcome!!
I’m Kathy ....your kids’ Culinary Nutrition coach.
I’ve been in the field of dietetics for over 30 years and have enjoyed working in preventive care with all age groups, but my passion has always been with Pediatrics.
-My nutrition philosophy for kids is quite simple:
I don’t believe in good or bad foods, but some foods are better for you and those foods should be consumed more! That’s the reason my students are exposed to a variety of fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices in my classes. I believe all foods can fit in a well balanced lifestyle without depravation.
-My Family:
I am very grateful to my husband for always supporting my work and providing me with herbs and vegetables from our garden: he’s the one with the green thumb. My kids are always supportive since they, too, love to eat and create dishes. My daughter started cooking from a very young age and loves to bake. My son is the Grill Master in the family and my daughter-in-law is the taste tester :)
-My healthy lifestyle:
When I’m not in the kitchen, I love being outdoors. A few of my favorite things include; morning walks, skiing, Pilates and Sunday brunch.
