In just one short-term program this summer, you’ll be ready to earn multiple credentials by combining Nurse Aide and Clinical Medical Assistant training. What did you do on Spring Break? Our students took time during their break to visit with Sanders residents and staff. They played games, did an Easter Egg Hunt, and even brought HOSA’s honorary therapy dog, JB, to bring smiles to students, residents, and staff!

Only 2 weeks left please help that local high schools’ HOSA club. We go to states next week! These students are the future of healthcare, their club is a student led organization that shared health education to the public, other schools, and within their own school. They volunteer and collaborate with many facilities and organizations.

To spread some holiday cheer, the Gloucester High School HOSA Future Health Professionals students visited Sanders, a retirement community in Gloucester, on Dec. 13 to decorate cookies, play games, put together puzzles and provide hand massages for the residents. The students donated all supplies needed to make and decorate the cookies. They also donated puzzles, coloring books, markers, individual lotions, dry-erase markers and more.

HOSA dues are now available to pay via School Cash App as of today. It is listed as "optional“ because it went school wide. If you are joining the HOSA club dues are required. Our first Officer only meeting is tomorrow and our first club meeting is after school Wednesday Sept 10th room 236 until 4 pm. HOSA T shirt order forms will be available online soon, but you must have paid dues to order the shirt. We look forward to another exiting year!
