We have added an exciting and important tool to our Plant Health Care arsenal, the Air Spade! This tool uses compressed air to safely remove built up dirt from around tree roots. Exposing tree root flares mitigates early onset of root and trunk rot and allows for the removal of girdling roots that will lead to premature decline by choking off water and nutrient supply to the tree.

TREES, TREES, and....you guessed it, more TREES! This summer we are planting an additional 94 trees for the City of Welcome who are showing great initiative in re-establishing their urban canopy following the loss of their Ash trees. Welcome is prioritizing diversity and longevity with a wide range of tree species. Thank you for being a leader in the re-forestation efforts of the Midwest and partnering with us at Ahrens Arbor Care to tackle this project!
