Welcome to our new page... this business was founded by Becci Powers-Johnson and Jaime Kastner. First and foremost, to just get it out there, we are not married. We have no plans to get married. We are happy just being best friends, business and life partners. I am Becci Powers-Johnson, proud mother of 2 teenagers. I am recovering from “Corporate America syndrome” trying to figure out how to spend the rest of my life doing what I love and am most passionate about. Jaime Kastner is my other half. Although he is not recovering from Corporate America, he, too, is trying to figure out the rest of his life. Jaime has been somewhat of a drifter, never quite figuring out his life passion. That is until he found Pink Courage. Jaime returned to school in 2010 and graduated with a degree in Entrepreneurship in December 2012. Jaime and Becci, along with one other friend and two-time breast cancer survivor, Kathy Robb Heins, founded Pink Courage, Inc. Jaime’s mom is a 30-year plus survivor. Becci lost her mom when she was 58 after a long tough 3-year battle of ovarian cancer. Her 3-year battle changed Becci’s life. She knew she needed to do something that would make a difference. She found that something in Pink Courage. Although our roots are “pink” (mixed with some teal), our vision is to build a cancer wellness retreat center for anyone going through treatment or just post treatment. Our retreat center will not discriminate based on type (or color) of your cancer. After losing her job in early 2013, Becci worked diligently with an awesome attorney and filed all of the IRS required forms. In April, Pink Courage achieved 501(c)(3) status!!! This was a significant milestone for us. Save the date: June 14, 2014! This will be the date of our 2nd Annual Walking for Warriors in Golden Valley! We are passionate about making a difference and helping others. We are passionate about building a dream, a wellness retreat. We know what we want. Now to just figure out the best way to earn an income without having to return to Corporate America (Becci), allowing the time and resources to pour our heart, sweat, and tears into this dream. We have started a new venture (July, 2013) and it is called Le-Vel – The Premuim Lifestyle. The products are amazing and the income potential for a home business is outstanding. The reason this business was added is their great collection of causes, and many of the colors of cancer. As the Cancer Wellness retreat will be for all colors of cancer, Pink Courage wants to start branching out our product line supporting ALL THE COLORS and TYPES. Becci has also been researching the right, all natural, organic, skin care line as well as other products that will be a great fit to have for our guests at the wellness retreat. She wants to share this product and is seeking feedback. She has become a wholesale distributor for Annmarie Gianni Skin Care and is the only representative in Minnesota.
