And here’s the part we don’t talk about enough:

This doesn’t mean it’s your fault.
But it does mean there is hope.

➡️ Chemicals found in our food, beauty products, and everyday fragrance items are being studied for their potential role in perimenopause symptoms, hormone disruption, interference with children’s endocrine systems, and even infertility later in life.

‼️Your hormones influence everything - from mood…to metabolism…to fertility.

When we protect our hormones, we help protect future generations too.

Infertility has increased in many parts of the world over the past few decades. In fact, the World Health Organization reports that 1 in 6 people globally experience infertility at some point in life.

There isn’t just one cause, but two major contributors stand out:

• Stress, nutrition, and lifestyle habits
• Everyday chemical exposures

There is increasing scientific evidence that certain environmental chemicals can interfere with the body’s hormonal system. These substances are known as endocrine-disrupting chemicals.

They may:

Trying something new and it was a WIN 🙌

I made overnight oats for the first time and y’all…it was SO good. Super simple, filling, and packed with nutrition. I even added the macros/calories/nutrtion info for my friends who like to track those things.

💙 WeightWatchers friends: The chocolate collagen I used is 1 point. Everything else is zero points, so if you skip the collagen, this can be a zero-point breakfast.

🥣 Simple Overnight Oats

✔️ ½ cup uncooked oats
✔️ ¾ cup almond milk (soy works too)
✔️ 1 tsp cacao powder
✔️ Chocolate collagen powder (I used this instead of protein powder)

🚫 I skipped the maple syrup
🚫 I skipped the vanilla extract ( my homemade vanilla extract is high in alcohol and I don’t do alcohol at all - I only use my own in baking )

👉 How I made it:
Blend or froth everything except the oats.(Put it in a blender, NutriBullet, frother, or just shake it well in a jar.)

Pour the chocolate mixture over the dry oats in a mason jar. Stir well to make sure all the oats are coded with the chocolate mix. Refrigerate overnight.

In the morning I added fresh blueberries 🫐 - you can add any fruit you like, or any other toppings like coconut, Chia seeds, etc.!

That’s it! Easy. Nutritious. Delicious.

Perfect for busy mornings when you want something ready to grab.

One of the simplest health tips I ever learned about grocery shopping is this…

Shop the perimeter of the store first.

If you look at the layout of most grocery stores, the real food is usually around the outside:

🥦 Fresh produce
🥩 Meat & seafood
🥚 Eggs
🥛 Dairy
🍎 Whole foods

These foods are closest to how God made them - real ingredients your body recognizes.

The middle aisles are where most of the ultra-processed foods live.

Boxes.
Bags.
Long ingredient lists.
Preservatives.
Artificial colors and flavors.
Added sugars and industrial oils.

Food companies are incredibly good at marketing. They’ve convinced many people that highly processed products are “healthy” simply because the box says so.

But if you flip the package over and read the ingredients…the story often looks very different.

I’m not saying we never walk down the middle aisles - we all do.

But when most of your cart comes from the perimeter of the store, you’re usually giving your body real nutrients instead of processed fillers.

It’s one of the easiest ways to start improving your health without counting calories or following complicated diets.

Just start with this simple habit:

Fill your cart with real food first.

READ THOSE LABELS!!!!! 👀🌿

If you’re trying to clean things up in your skincare and haircare…this is one ingredient I personally skip…

💥Dimethicone

It’s a silicone used in skincare, makeup, primers, and hair products. And yes… it makes everything feel super smooth.

But here’s what most people don’t realize 👇

🚩 It’s occlusive.
It forms a barrier over your skin. That can help prevent water loss… but if you’re putting it over clogged pores, sweat, or bacteria, it can trap that underneath. Acne-prone skin usually doesn’t love that.

🚩 It’s not biodegradable.
Silicones don’t break down easily. If you care about what’s going down the drain and into the environment, that matters.

🚩 It can cause buildup (especially in hair).
Over time it can coat the strands and you end up needing stronger shampoos just to remove the coating.

🚩 It’s not truly nourishing.
It makes your skin feel soft and smooth… but it’s not feeding your skin like real plant oils, butters, and healthy lipids do. It’s more of a cosmetic quick fix.

✔️ To be fair, it is not considered toxic.

I’m not about perfection.
I’m about being informed.

Flip the bottle over.
If you see dimethicone near the top of that list…you might want to rethink it.
