Pink Warrior Calendar Girls Dealing encouragement BC survivors & bc awareness to the public. DM for affiliate partnerships Pink sisters don't just fight breast cancer in October. SINGLE. DAY.

We fight EVERY. We know it's hard to face upcoming days no matter where you're at in this journey. We're not capable of giving medical advice, but we're here to help you better navigate what you're facing. This group was originally created to showcase at least 12 survivors a year. While we may eventually get back to hosting photo shoots we are SO MUCH MORE. We're here to help you stay in the moment, whether it's beautiful or crummy, and help you take this one day at a time. We support ALL choices someone makes for their PERSONAL healthcare. Some of our choices and journeys overlap, but we realize that we all have our own paths we must walk while we SUPPORT each other along the way. We're pink sisters for pink sisters. We seek to go BEYOND digital encouragement and help to impact the breast cancer community in more direct ways. We're aware that there are MANY pink sisters who are ALSO business owners. Instead of buying into what many refer to as "pinkwash" campaigns, we want to strongly encourage supporting EACH OTHER as producers and consumers. We don't want to wonder where that money went to when buying a "pink" item or service. We strongly encourage pink sister business owners to sponsor PWCG to directly support pink sister causes, and, likewise, we strongly encourage our members to buy from our sponsors. Think of it like the concept of shopping local. While we aren't neighbors on a physical street, we're all on this same avenue of pink sisterhood. Pink Warrior Calendar Girls does NOT allow people to advertise on their support group page without being a business sponsor. If you ARE a business sponsor you will be mentioned in the sponsor listings depending on your level of sponsorship. Monthly sponsorship packages are available on Patreon at https://www.patreon.com/pinkwarriorcalendargirls, and you can read about what each level offers there. Yearly sponsorships will soon be announced here. A minimum of 50% of sponsorships will go to breast cancer related organizations to help pink sisters in real ways: through research for more stage 4, as well as for holistic and integrative medicine; for financial assistance; and other related causes that directly benefit our survivor community. We'd LOVE to support ALL legitimate causes, but in order to make it easier for tax purposes the breast cancer related organizations must be nonprofit. The other percentage of proceeds goes toward helping to maintain PWCG's marketing and outreach efforts and also work toward our vision of developing retreats and returning to our original photo shoot hostings. We do not currently have open employment opportunities, but as we grow this may change. It's our vision to employ other pink sisters, in keeping with the pink sisters for pink sisters vision. At this time the only open positions are on a volunteer level. See Less

THIS is why more. Stage 4 breast cancer is the one that someone lives with for the rest of their lives. They stay on one treatment until it no longer works, and then are put on another treatment until it no longer works. Money toward breast cancer, if going for a CURE, should go toward because they are focused on stage 4 meta sisters. Most other charities are NOT serving them, in fact, not even 10% of donations go to Metavivor or stage 4. It really does tell us that most people aren't really looking for a cure. Please keep my friend Emily in your prayers. Enhertu is no longer working for her, so they are looking for the next option. She just recently got married. We want her around for a good long while more. Emily Powell-Heaton

Flashback. If some who are just embarking on their breast cancer wonder why it's taking so stinking long, it's a process. I KNOW it's hard to wait. I was just talking about this in my last YouTube video that I'm finishing up to load onto Pink Warrior Calendar Girl on YouTube. It's hard, waiting on pathology results, wondering what your next several months to a year or life will look like. HUGS. I got the biopsy 12/14/2014. I got diagnosed 1/19/2015. I was STILL waiting for a care plan 2/6. I'm praying GOD renews your strength and that you learn to LEAN INTO HIM.

Being over 9 years out from a diagnosis, I still remember how hard it was to get that first . I go over how that appointment went, expecting the to be like it was the very first time, and feeling blind sided. I don’t want that to be your experience. So I put this video together in hopes you come across, it in case you actually run into more than you thought you would at the mammogramand and end up having a

Today's World Cancer Day. I don't say "Happy" World Cancer Day, because there isn't really anything happy about ANY cancer. Many other breast cancer survivors have been told we got the "good cancer". The only good cancer is no cancer at all. So what are you doing for World Cancer Day? Are you donating to actually HELP a PERSON with cancer? Are you bringing a meal or helping with housekeeping for someone enduring active treatment? Are you simply SITTING & LISTENING? Any of these things can go a LONG way for a cancer patient. 9+ year survivor

It's that time of the month to remind you to "feel it on the 1st". Check and make sure there aren't any unusual things going on - - not just with your breasts. Check your collar bone and under your arms as well. Also, if ANYTHING is OFF, ANYWHERE IN YOUR BODY, monitor it. If it's been off for a while, go to the doctor and get it checked out. This goes for men AND women, no matter what your age.

My oncologist believes the I found through self examination was there for 10 years before I discovered it. Yet I had a within that time frame, and the radiologist said there were no suspicions. Watch and learn why women 40 and under should ask for additional screening, and watch and see why you always need to push if you think something may be off. learn about what technologies are available to you, which ones are best, and which ones are too new or should never be used as stand alone.

A Full Circle of Hope & Restoration ALL. YEAR. LONG.

We’re VERY aware that breast cancer doesn’t just happen in October. WE fight it every day, and know one month of awareness is not enough. Every year, a survivor is selected to represent something in their journey they feel new survivors can identify in their own journey ahead of them. Do you want to see the picture of someone who has survived 10 years or more? Miss January will be a 16 year survivor this year, and Miss July will be 25 years out! Do you struggle with Lymphedema? Miss February does too. Are you a single mother? So is Miss March. Did you hear that you not only have breast cancer but it’s also stage 4? Miss May is a metavivor. Were you told you had to have an oopharectomy? So did Miss June. Want to hear from a 3-time cancer survivor? Miss December never takes life for granted, and carries the spirit of treating every day like it’s the Christmas season.

You see, when I got my breast cancer diagnosis I lost sleep wondering how I was going to accept those 4 dreaded words: “you have breast cancer,” and what got me past that stage was YOU. Yes, YOU! I decided that if I could have at least ONE purpose through my diagnosis then it was worth it. That purpose was to inspire those who would get this diagnosis after me. I never want any one of you to ever feel alone, and I want YOU to feel that YOUR journey matters to someone else. And you know what? It DOES. YOUR story could be what helps ANOTHER survivor face this one more day.

We also offer the resources below:

If you think you MIGHT have breast cancer we can help prepare you for what to expect during a mammogram, ultrasound, or (worst case scenario) a biopsy.
