Suezhanna Arredondo, LMT

Suezhanna Arredondo, LMT Licensed Massage Therapist and Reflexologist serving Goliad and surrounding areas. I am also a wife to a retired Army service member and a mother.

Offering therapeutic massage and reflexology with an emphasis on nervous system support, comfort, and long-term wellness. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist serving Goliad and the surrounding areas, offering professional, client-centered bodywork focused on relaxation, therapeutic support, and long-term wellness. My path into massage therapy was intentional and informed by both education and lived

experience. I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health and Wellness and served in the United States Army, where I later worked as a resiliency instructor supporting stress management, self-regulation, and recovery under sustained demands. Our family comes from a dual military background, which has shaped my understanding of discipline, service, physical strain, and the long-term effects of stress on the body and nervous system. That lived experience deeply informs how I approach care, particularly for veterans, caregivers, and individuals who have spent years pushing through responsibility without adequate rest. These experiences shaped how I understand the body. Long-term stress, physical labor, caregiving, and service often show up not just as tension, but in posture, breathing patterns, and nervous system fatigue. Massage therapy became a natural extension of that understanding. My work is rooted in anatomy, physiology, and nervous system awareness. Each session is approached with patience and intention, adjusting pressure, pacing, and technique to meet the needs of the individual that day. I prioritize creating a calm, respectful space where clients can rest without pressure to push, explain, or perform. I offer:
• Swedish and relaxation-based massage
• Deep therapeutic massage when appropriate
• Prenatal massage
• Reflexology
• Senior wellness massage

I believe massage is not simply a luxury, but a form of restorative care that supports mobility, circulation, recovery, and overall quality of life. Many of my clients carry years of work, service, caregiving, or physical strain. My role is to support the body in settling, softening, and restoring balance. As a veteran, military spouse, and mother, I value ethical practice, clear boundaries, and sustainable care that honors both the client and the practitioner. I am committed to continued learning and providing thoughtful, professional bodywork to the community I serve.

Good morning from San Antonio. 🇺🇸

I’m here supporting my son at the Junior Shootout at the National Shooting Complex, and I decided what better way to hone my skills than to serve the shooting community while we’re here.

I’m offering short pre-event preparation and post-event recovery bodywork sessions for shooters, as well as relaxation sessions for parents and spectators.

If you’re competing or cheering from the sidelines, come see me. I am located on vendor row.

Part of being a healthcare professional, is practicing at home and taking care of those you love. Both my husband and son had some cupping done last night while I used my set to cup my legs and then I let my son cup my shoulders.
In order to help my clients, I take care of me. 😊

Also it’s Super Bowl Sunday!!! Enjoy all the yummy food and just relax. I know we are. 🏈

Happy lunchtime 🤍 ☕️
I hope everyone has stayed warm through this cold front.

I’m taking a mid-day coffee pause and wanted to share that I have openings available this week and next week for anyone needing bodywork.

This is a good time to come in for sports recovery, deep tension, or stress that’s been hanging on a little longer than it should.

You’re welcome to request a session through my booking page, or message me if you’re not sure what to book.

Hi, it’s me, the night owl 🦉
I wanted to share something a little different, because this really embodies many of my "whys" behind becoming a massage therapist.

I was scrolling Facebook earlier and came across a post that asked, “When was the last time you added up your hours?” Meaning all the education and training you have completed in your field.

Out of curiosity, I did it.

Between my degrees, military leadership and resiliency training, massage therapy education, prevention and ethics work, and women’s health and holistic studies, it came out to about 9,700 hours of formal education and training.

What really caught me, though, was realizing how long this path has actually been. It stretches back to 2005, when I was a sophomore in high school taking college classes, through joining the military, earning my associate’s, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees, and continuing to learn, train, and embody this work over the last 21 years.

Seeing it written out felt grounding. Not in a bragging way, but in a way that helped me understand how much of this knowledge now lives in my hands and in how I show up with people. It has shaped how I work with the body, how I notice patterns, and how I hold space for rest, relief, and realignment.

That’s why my massage work isn’t about quick fixes or surface-level relaxation. It’s about helping people feel better in their bodies. Sometimes that looks like deep rest. Sometimes it looks like gentle stretching, mobility work, or creating space where things feel stuck or off. Always, it’s about listening to what the body is asking for and working with it, not against it.

This reflection also made me think about how many skills and gifts we gather over time that we don’t always allow to fully support the people we serve or ourselves. I’m learning how to let my work fill my cup too, and how to build something meaningful, sustainable, and aligned with who I actually am.

Wherever you are in your own journey, your path counts. The work you’ve done matters. Even if you’re still learning. I know I am.

If you’re looking for bodywork that’s intentional, grounding, and focused on helping you move, rest, and feel more at home in your body, I’d be honored to work with you.

Some nights end like this.
Sunday our son had 4-H shotgun practice, and we knew he would be a bit sore. He asked me to massage him, so of course I said, “Get on the table, little buddy. Let’s get you ready for bed.”

Massage, especially for kids in the evening, can help calm the nervous system and ease those bedtime jitters. It allows the body to slow down, rest, and prepare for sleep. Gentle, intentional touch also supports the lymphatic and circulatory systems, encourages flow through the body’s channels, and helps tissues recover after physical effort, like working the arms and shoulders while firing a shotgun.

Sometimes it is simply about helping the body feel safe enough to rest.
