Grambling State University- Department of Educational Leadership The primary purpose of the Department of Educational Leadership is to offer advanced degree programs in education.

Its purposes include, but are not limited to:

•preparing professionals in the field of developmental education for teaching and leadership roles in colleges/universities, private industry, government, business and human service settings.
•preparing professionals for roles in elementary, middle and secondary school settings.
•providing instruction in educational administration and supervision for students seeking certification in principalship and instructional supervision.

General information

The Department of Educational Leadership has responsibility for six graduate programs: Master of Science (M.S.) and the Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Developmental Education; Master of Education in Educational Leadership; Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Curriculum and Instruction; and Post Masters Certificate in Developmental Education.
