What does breakfast ‘BREAKING THE FAST’ look like for coaches? Someone asked me the other day whats the difference between
KETOVORE, KETO AND CARNIVORE
Coach nikki eats:
F-Sa-Su are easier for focused, purposeful low carb consumption. M-Th is much more challenging
NO i do not eat any grains (not even sprouted)
NO i do not eat any added sugars/fake sweeteners.
NO i do NOT allow honey, maple, allulose or stevia (addiction, not nutritional)…honey is a medicine for winter manuca or local raw.
NO i do not eat highly processed foods.
NO i do not seed oils like canola or safflower/sunflower.
NO i do not eat almonds, spinach or sweet potatoes as HIGH OXALATE veggies inflame my joints as i discovered through elimination diet.
NO i do not meal prep 🙄.
NO i do not eat avocados, cashews, peanuts, beans, soy/tofu, almonds
NO i do not add extra salt to my food and i get 1200-1500 mg max sodium a day (cottage cheese, moon cheese, turkey protein sticks…its there already).
YES i eat FRESH blueberries and strawberries, watermelon, cucumbers, mushrooms, zucchini, bok choy, brussels and fresh summer peaches.
YES i eat Walnuts and Macadamia nuts raw or unsalted and roasted.
YES i eat about 2 grassfed steaks a week, airchilled organic chicken breast/thigh/leg with skin, Ahi Tuna, Wildcaught Salmon with skin and duck, lamb and turkey. Bacon on occasion check for sugar and my NOs!!!!
YES i eat GHEE.
YES i eat avocado walnut and cold olive oil.
YES i supplement highly bioavailable potassium, calcium, magnesium, iodine and zinc, D3 (5000) methelated B complex and K2.
YES i do my bloodwork every 6 months to keep me on track.
YES i consume some dairy (not a lot of cheese) like cottage cheese (2%-4% fat), plain greek yogurt (0%-2% fat), half n half and feta cheese.
YES i snack occasionally on plain 2 ingredient pork skins or moon cheese.
Coach albert eats:
2-3 ribeyes or chucks a day or
2-4 burger patties or a combination
Celtic sea salt, redmonds salt
Water
Butter and ghee grassfed only
NO SAUCES. NO SPICES. MEAT ONLY.
NO ONE CONSUMES, SODA ALCOHOL OR BEVERAGES OTHER THAN COFFEE (me) OR WATER
