I not only lawfully corrected my name [years ago] to tie myself back to [our] Moorish/Muur/ autochthonous culture, but because there is power in names (or in this case, appellations).
For me in particular, it re-presents new beginnings, transformation, etc.
Characters in the science texts, the holy bible, the holy Quran, the Torah, names were ‘corrected’, which indicated purpose, mission, power, etc, of those characters.
It is a way that i identify the God within; relationship building with God/Allah/Alat/Yahweh/ Jehovah the most high in finding my life’s purpose and assignment, in which we all have a soul contract, via seeking knowledge.

Arabic is a language, not a people; same goes for hebrew, latin, english, etc. And an arabic name doesn’t automatically mean one practices Islam via Sunni, Shia, Sufi, etc

There’s power and purpose behind your title (name). Put some respect on it 🤲🏽
