There have been some unexpected bumps, bruises, and sore muscles along the way—yet it’s all part of creating something meaningful.

Meghan French is the newest face at Confidence Beyond! Coming to us with a background in Marketing, Meghan looks forward to being the “face” of the studio to welcome new and existing clients, book appointments (and chat with you on the phone!) and assist Rachael with day-to-day operations.

Meghan lives with her husband, three kids and dog in Grand Haven. She is inspired by the empowerment, compassion, and confidence that Rachael provides to the women coming through the door and the resilience that our clients exude! This journey… this dream… none of it happens alone. It takes a tribe — the kind of people who show up, lift you when you’re tired, believe in you when you’re unsure, and pour into your vision like it’s their own.

We're Moving! Confidence Beyond Hair Studio has a new location in Grand Haven: 1052 Washington Ave. As of Thursday, April 2nd, all appointments will be held in our new space!

We bought the building and fully renovated it to reflect the studio’s mission of supporting individuals by offering privacy, accessibility, and personalized care. The space is fully handicap-accessible and ADA-compliant.

The building's exterior might not look like much yet, but will be painted and updated soon! We have been busy at work inside; thoughtfully creating a welcoming, purposeful, and beautiful atmosphere for you! We have more space now than ever, so you'll find a large waiting room, a wig and topper showroom space, two private styling rooms, and a large workspace for us to mix color and work behind-the-scenes.

In addition, the studio is investing in community safety by installing an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), with professional training provided by Jessica DeJonge of Lake Effect CPR.

There is a parking lot in the back for all clients to use.

We can't wait for you to experience it!

My Story

Hi! My name is Rachael Kaminski, founder of Confidence Beyond Hair Loss. I’m a cancer survivor and hairstylist who knows first hand the devastation of hair loss. After losing my hair due to chemotherapy treatments for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2017, I knew I needed to help others navigate the journey of hair loss with guidance and support.

Confidence Beyond Hair Loss is dedicated to providing personalized caring and customized service to women who are experiencing hair loss due to any medical condition. I offer human hair and synthetic wig, topper and alternative hair piece sales and customization that includes cutting, styling, coloring, fitting and restoration.
