Our latest studio class is now available to members - this one's a lower body strength workout with a special focus on the quadriceps and hamstrings.

Had a bit of technical difficulties this morning - but this week's studio class is officially available to members now!

This is a 60 minute yoga sesh all about the upper body and downward facing dog. We work strength, stability and control as well as mobility in the:
-shoulders
-shoulder blades
-chest
-thoracic spine

This is a special release from the vault, because this is the very first class I filmed virtually! Wow, have I come far over the last several months and fifty plus classes (with all the tech, the editing, being less awkward on camera, the whole bit!)

In this 30 minute energizing yoga flow, we’ll do moves to open your hips and chest. Poses include: triangle, crescent lunge, and reverse table top. I hope you enjoy!

Have you ever experienced shoulder pain in downward facing dog? Or maybe a student of yours has?
In this article, I talk about:
👉what pain is, and the more recent pain science info
👉the myth of "shoulder impingement"
👉tips for alignment adjustments in downward facing dog to alleviate discomfort in this area.

Of course - getting STRONGER in your shoulders will most certainly reduce pain, in downward facing dog or otherwise.

In this YogaPUMP class we focus on upper body strength around the theme of downward facing dog - both to strengthen and improve our upper body strength for our downdogs as well as exercises that focus on the opposing/neglected muscle groups for this pose.

Moves include: serratus anterior punches, tricep kickbacks, and overhead shrugs

Includes the use of a set of light and extra-light dumbbells.
