Pure light, one of the most ordinary things that surrounds us
is transformed into something truly extraordinary. Individual reflections of light “Lumens” are the subject of this cutting edge imagery. Precision scientific lenses and lighting is used to capture RAW unaltered light as fine art. "The last few years for me have been an adventure in to the small words of macro and micro photography.

“Lumenography” is a term that I am borrowing from the medical field, it is a phrase that I have coined to describe the process of capturing individual pieces of light or lumens. Light is refracted and then reflected in a controlled environment that is meticulously prepared, at the same time it is flexible for spontaneous creativity. I am constantly finding new ways to express the experience on digital prints or video, exploring small and visually stunning worlds made up of light. My hope is that you will enjoy the art that is created with camera, light and imagination."
