Please help us welcome Nikkita Dinnella to the Lakeview team!

Nikkita is a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner positioned to serve individuals across the lifespan who are struggling with mental health challenges. She began in the medical field at 19-years-old as a medical assistant. From there, she moved on to a medical scribe role, following some of Arizona's most experienced psychiatrists, addictionologists, and PMHNPs. She then became a registered nurse to deepen her clinical experience before becoming a PMHNP in 2023. Her primary areas of focus include addiction, ADHD, depression, anxiety, sleep problems, mood disorders, and schizophrenia. Her goal is to create a welcoming and non-judgmental space for individuals to feel truly heard.

Nikkita proudly affirms her commitment as an ally for LGBTQ+ individuals and people of diverse racial backgrounds.

Lakeview Behavioral Health was honored to be present in Grand Rapids as the incredible Sue Abderholden met with the community to discuss mental health priorities from the 2025 legislative session and to hear concerns and hopes for 2026.

Sue’s advocacy has shaped a stronger, more compassionate Minnesota. After nearly 24 years as Executive Director of NAMI Minnesota, she’s retiring this October, leaving behind a legacy of groundbreaking legislative victories and tireless service. From transforming mental health training in schools to expanding crisis services and reforming laws, Sue has changed thousands of lives.

We are beyond grateful for her leadership and vision and we wish her nothing but the best in retirement. Thank you, Sue, for everything. Your impact will be felt for generations.

Kristina is a medical billing and coding professional with roots in Keewatin, Minnesota. A graduate of Nashwauk-Keewatin High School, she went on to earn her degree in Medical Billing and Coding through an accredited online program. She currently resides in the Hibbing area, where she continues to apply her skills in the healthcare field.

Outside of her professional life, Kristina enjoys spending quality time with her family, friends, and a lively household that includes three dogs, several chickens, and Betty the duck. She has a passion for true crime shows and finds creative relaxation in diamond art.

Mara grew up in Roseville, MN and moved up to Duluth about a year ago. She has a strong background in both childcare and healthcare. Mara brings excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a calm, welcoming presence to her role. When she’s not at work, she enjoys attending concerts, reading, discovering new music, and spending summer days on the water—whether it’s a lake, river, or boat ride with friends.

Rachel has been a Licensed Practical Nurse for over twenty years working in various settings which includes long and short-term care, clinics and hospitals, as well as psychiatry. Rachel's passion lies in working with individuals in regards to holistic wellness.
In her freetime, Rachel enjoys playing BINGO, spending time with family, and playing with her two dogs, Dani and Butters.
