Thanks for continuing to celebrate our 25th anniversary with us all year long! 🎉 We are continually grateful for the support our patients and communities have shown, allowing us to grow and have a greater impact in the areas we live. We are so proud to have remained 100% locally-owned despite the increasing competition and choices for healthcare. We've had your back for 25 years! 💪

VALD Force Plates were in action today at Davenport University! 🏃‍♀️📈 It was an awesome session of data, testing, and collaboration between athletes and PTs. We're excited to return for follow-up testing in Feb 2026. Huge thanks to Alex Kamp, DPT, and Luke DeLong, DPT, for bringing the equipment and leading the charge!

VALD ForceDecks are a portable, easy-to-use force plate system for analyzing balance, strength, and movement.🔥

Our Story

Hulst Jepsen Physical Therapy is a Grand Rapids based, locally-owned, independent physical therapy practice with 16 locations, over 60 physical therapists and nearly 200 employees. Our goal from the beginning, in the year 2000, has been to create a physical therapy practice that first and foremost glorifies God. From day one we gave this business to Him and have sought His guidance in all decisions along the way. It’s crazy that we have grown 15 – 20% annually since our inception while many of our competitors have closed offices and cut staff. This growth has occurred despite the increasing competition around us and political forces against us including:

• Hospitals in West Michigan pressuring their physicians to keep physical therapy referrals in their systems.

• Surgeons hiring their own physical therapists in their offices and encouraging their patients to go to physical therapy there.
