Sometimes the simplest activities create the most beautiful learning moments. Today we turned salt, sidewalk chalk, and a few kitchen tools into colorful spring art

Our friend explored creativity by swirling chalk in a bowl of salt, watching it transform into vibrant colors, then carefully layering each shade into a clear vase. This hands-on activity builds fine motor skills, concentration, and independence—while feeling like pure fun.

Today we’re exploring those tricky “teen” numbers and learning their names through concrete materials and repetition. What can feel confusing at first quickly starts to click when children can see it, touch it, and build it themselves.

And guess what? We are ROCKING it!! 🙌

Today we explored 4-digit numbers and built a deeper understanding of place value using Montessori materials—paired with 10-sided dice for an extra layer of excitement! 🎲

The children loved rolling, building, and breaking down numbers into thousands, hundreds, tens, and ones. This kind of concrete learning helps make big concepts feel natural and fun.

It’s always a win when something you love outside the classroom becomes meaningful inside it 💛
