✨ Look at the beautiful work these kiddos are doing in our Montessori classroom! ✨You know a child has truly mastered a concept when they can teach it. Today, this student stepped into the role of teacher—helping his friend (and me!) play a learning game where we retrieve letters from across the room.Learning through movement, collaboration, and joy is what it’s all about. Yes, we use motions while learning our letters—engaging the whole body helps the brain lock it in! 🧠➡️💪So proud of these little leaders and so excited to watch them continue to grow 🌱💛

This is the hope we have— a hope in a new humanity that will come from this new education, an education that is a collaboration of man and the universe.”— Maria MontessoriMontessori is more than materials and lessons—it’s a vision for the future. 🌍A future where children learn in harmony with themselves, with others, and with the world around them.Where education isn’t about competition, but collaboration. Not control, but connection. When we nurture the whole child, we aren’t just teaching—we’re shaping a kinder, more conscious humanity.

Today, our children prepared their own yogurt parfaits—pouring, scooping, layering, and cleaning up afterward. These simple moments build real-life, foundational skills they’ll carry with them forever: independence, coordination, focus, and confidence.Practical life work like this isn’t just about food—it’s about empowering children to care for themselves and take pride in what they can do

This little guy is hard at work with pin poking—one tiny push at a time. What looks simple is actually building so many important skills: fine motor strength, hand-eye coordination, focus, and patience. In Montessori, we trust children with real tools and meaningful work. Through repetition and concentration, they gain confidence in their own abilities and pride in what they create. Watching a child so focused and engaged is a beautiful reminder that deep learning often happens quietly.Small hands. Big concentration. Important work.

Tiny footprints, big learning 🤍Today a child explored making footprints in the snow—right inside the classroom. Using a soft makeup brush, cornstarch, and laminated paper, they carefully brushed away the “snow” to reveal each footprint beneath. This work supports:• fine motor development• hand-eye coordination• concentration and control of movement• purposeful, intentional workIn Montessori, materials don’t have to be complicated to be meaningful. When a child is given time, trust, and the right tools, even brushing “snow” becomes a moment of deep focus and discovery.✨ Simple. Intentional. Beautiful learning.

This is such a beautiful moment of learning.
As we explore penguins, the children practiced gross motor skills by becoming penguins themselves—carefully waddling while keeping their “egg” safe between their legs.

This work builds balance, coordination, body awareness, and concentration, all while connecting movement to real-world learning. Watching them move with such intention and care is a reminder that learning happens through the whole body

Follow along to see how we turn curiosity into meaningful movement every day.

These moments are the reason I do what I do.
Today, a brand-new friend who just started asked if I would hold their hand at lunch. 🥺🤍 That small request meant everything. Helping a child feel loved, safe, and secure—especially on their very first day—is what matters most to me.

I truly believe a little extra love goes a long way, and I’m so grateful to the families who trust me and allow me to be part of their child’s life.

If you’re looking for a place where your child will be seen, supported, and deeply cared for, we would love to connect with you. 💛 Message us to learn more or schedule a tour.

Observation is a skill we nurture in the Montessori Children’s House—by everyone.

In this moment, a younger child sits in complete stillness, carefully watching an older peer demonstrate hand washing. There is no interruption, no rushing—just quiet focus. This kind of observation is powerful.

In Montessori, children learn not only by doing, but by watching. Through calm, respectful observation, younger children absorb movements, sequencing, and care of self from their peers. This builds concentration, patience, and deep respect for the work of others.

Stillness is not accidental—it’s learned. And it’s beautiful to witness.
