Why I enjoy working with women in recovery:
I truly enjoy working with women in recovery because I’ve seen how powerful it can be when they begin to rebuild their lives and rediscover their self-worth. Many of the women I work with have faced incredible challenges and being able to walk alongside them as they find hope, healing, and confidence is deeply rewarding. Watching women support one another, learn accountability, and grow into healthier versions of themselves is inspiring. I believe that when women heal, families and communities heal too — and being part of that process gives me a strong sense of purpose every day.
Why do I like working in the Recovery community?
As a person in long term recovery, working in the recovery community keeps me on my journey and allows me to make a meaningful impact while continuing to grow both personally and professionally. I enjoy the opportunity to build trust, provide guidance, and create a safe environment where women can heal. Each day brings a new challenge and a chance to celebrate progress, no matter how small.
What I bring to Our Hope:
I bring good energy, a big heart, and a healthy dose of humor. I love creating a positive, uplifting space where women feel supported and seen. Recovery is hard work, but it doesn’t have to feel heavy — I try to balance accountability with warmth and laughter. I believe in showing women that sober fun is not only possible, but even better. Hope grows when we combine hard work with heart, and that’s what I strive to bring to Our Hope every day.
Fun fact about me:
I love reggae and blues music, and like Dolly Parton says, “When you get the chance to dance — I dance!”
