📣 We have some exciting news to share with you! Bartoszewicz Family Dental will officially be changing its name to Eastgate Family Dental.

The name reflects the Eastgate neighborhood of Grand Rapids where our practice is located, a community we love and are honored to serve. More than that, it marks a new chapter, one built on the strong foundation that Dr. Bartoszewicz spent his career creating. After decades of exceptional service to his patients, Dr. Bartoszewicz retired at the end of 2025. We are so grateful for everything he built, and we carry his standard of care forward with great pride. Dr. Jankowski has practiced here for nearly a decade and has proudly served as the owner for the past five years. This office, and the people in it, mean everything to him.

We were also very excited to introduce Dr. Jonathan Kahn to you at the beginning of this year. His commitment to gentle and personalized care has already been a wonderful addition to our team.

We know that when it comes to your dental care, consistency and trust matter. The name on the door is changing, but nothing else is.

We are excited to introduce the newest member of our team, Dr. Jonathan Kahn!! He grew up in Toledo, Ohio and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin before completing his MBA at Bowling Green State University. He went on to attend Western University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in 2013. Following dental school, Dr. Kahn completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency.

Dr. Kahn practiced dentistry in Southern California for 11 years before relocating to Grand Rapids in the summer of 2025 with his wife, Nina, and their three children, Max, Amelia, and Levi. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, skiing, and traveling. He can most often be found on the sidelines at a local youth sporting event, enthusiastically cheering on one of his kids.

Dr. Kahn joined our practice at the beginning of the new year and is excited to work alongside Dr. Jankowski to care for our patients.

Last night we had the privilage of celebrating the retirement of Dr. Bartoszewicz! Thank you for your 39 years of amazing dentistry and dedication. Your many patients and staff will miss you and all of your jokes! We are wishing you a retirement filled with relaxation and new adventures! 🎉

A few weeks ago our hardworking and fun loving staff got together for our annual pool party! The weather was perfect, the burgers and dogs delicious, and time with each other so enjoyable! Hope our patients and friends are relishing all the last days of summer!
