Help Kids Access Mental Health

Every child deserves the chance to grow up healthy, happy, supported and reach their full potential. — but for Michigan kids, access to mental health providers remains out of reach. Without care, challenges like attention disorders, anxiety, depression, and trauma can go undiagnosed and treated, impacting their education and future.
This is where you can make a difference.
By supporting our Access Assistant Fund, you're giving children the chance to connect with qualified mental health providers. Your contributions help:
• Bridge the gap between families and affordable mental health services especially for families without health insurance. Currently, families without private insurance often must wait for up to two years to have their kids to get in to see a mental health provider. Our clinic provides a new access point to families and reduces the long wait.
• Expand access to trained and culturally competent therapists and counselors for underserved communities and immigrants who often come from places marked by wars and other terrible violence.
• Provide immediate intervention to children in crisis situations. We provide assessments, diagnosis and treatment plans.
