So, most people know that I've been doing massage therapy for some time now- 26 years to be exact. Whew! That's a long time. Then there are a few people who also know I am an artist. In fact, I've been creating art since I was a kid, and once upon a time, I was involved in participating in art shows and had some of my stuff in a few galleries. Jump ahead to having kids, and everything shifts. My art mostly consisted of teaching my kids and introducing them to stuff. In the past few years, I've slowly been reclaiming my art side. I have several of my art prints and photos printed on greetings cards available in my massage studio. Since this past Dec, I also have a few of my photos stretched on canvas and on display/sale along the walls inside 29:11 Wellness where my massage studio is located. My fellow therapists in the building asked if I could leave some in our halls. Now, coming soon, I am hoping to finish creating what I call my "Mini Canvas Collection" of earrings. They will all be small art works hand created by me and may have a few other adornments added. Here is one that I made for myself that was inspired by the northern lights. These are what sparked my whole new interest in trying to create a Mini Canvas Collection. I'll probably make a few different kinds and see if there's much interest. If there is, I'll keep going. Each Mini Canvas will be a one-of-a-kind.

And don't worry, I'm still giving massages as well. This is just a little added fun to satisfy the craving to do more art. 🥰

I just had a cancelation tomorrow. If you or someone you know is looking to get in for a massage, I have an opening at 12:30 tomorrow, Wednesday, April 29th, for a 90-min massage. If you want something longer, we can start a little earlier and make it work.

It's hard to believe we're already in April. This year has been flying by so far.

I don't want to share too much, but just enough for right now. Family is incredibly important to us, and we currently have an extended family member who needs some extra care and is living us for the time being. I am not shutting my business down, but I am shifting my hours a bit to accommodate some other appointments and scheduling needs for our family member. Each week may have slightly different hours and days of availability. I am doing my best to take care of everyone's needs at work and at home. I love what I do, and I appreciate all of you. Thank you for the grace and flexibility as I maneuver these shifts. I look forward to continuing to see all of you. I'm so very blessed and honored to have the most amazing clients- truly, you are the best. 🥰

I'm so thrilled to be stepping back into my arts for the first time since moving to Grand Rapids. Art and photography have always been a passions of mine. It is my expression and grounding. It's where I connect with nature and my surroundings in a different way that only brush strokes or pastel can relay, or the intimate moments in nature captured by the click of my shutter. It bring joy to my heart, and hope it does the same to those who see it. I hope it triggers a smile, a daydream, or something within that makes you feel connected- connected to nature, yourself, your Creator. 🥰

Unfortunately, do to unforseen circumstances, my friend Lou will be unable to join us with her lovely vocals and 12-string guitars. We're going to miss her, and i know she's super bummed to have to miss.

Long shot, but if anyone is looking for an opportunity to have their voice or musical abilities heard and get their name out, let me know. Due to the setting and event, we're not looking for wild and loud, just easy-listening. Either way, we'll have some kind of music- live or through our music system at our Wellness Studio.

Wow! I'm excited and just a tad bit nervous. I haven't done as much of my art and photography since moving to Grand Rapids. Prior to having children, I used to be in a variety of art shows and a few galleries.

I welcome you to join me and a couple friends who I have invited to be a part of this December first friday event. We're calling it "Heartfelt Holidays". Come hear the beautiful vocals of my dear friend Lou, as she plays her 6-string and her 12-string guitars. Also, if you're looking for a unique gift for someone special, or you've been wanting permanent jewelry for yourself, please, come meet my other dear friebd, Jaimi. I will have some of my limited editions and some unlimited ones. I also have a large variety of cards and my comical coffee table book that I published.

I am currently preparing for my first soft re-entry into the world of arts. My soul is happy. I have run out of a few cards which I am printing more of for the event, as well as some new ones. I'm also creating some new prints to have available for sale, while more is available on a "made to order" basis.

It's been a year now since I finally got an official logo made. I'm grateful for the skills of my dear friend, Josh Heriot, for his help in the matter. It was fun to put two artistic minds together. I love what he came up with. If anyone is looking for someone to help them design a logo, I'd be happy to introduce you/them to Josh. You can also check out his info on his page, Heriot Creative. He enjoys designing logos but also works with many cities and other businesses with magazines as well.
