❄️💙❄️🩵

Have you noticed how BLUE the world has looked lately, in the moments just before dawn? 🌞

I was marveling at it this morning and decided to do a little research to learn about it.

Turns out the “blue hour” is an actual phase of daybreak, when the sun is still sitting well below the horizon and the blue wavelengths of light dominate our visual sphere, making everything look extra blue.

Factor in the natural cool tones of winter and all the frozen water blanketing everything, and no wonder it’s such a spectacle!

Have you been noticing the blue hour?

If not, this weekend could be a great time to catch a pre-sunrise show from the comfort of a window! Snuggle up with some coffee and enjoy.

It’s quite beautiful. 💙🩵💙

Tonight’s 6:30 Basic Yoga class with Parks and Rec is canceled! We will make up the class on March 2nd. Now, everyone stay home, roll out your mat, and do 12 Sun salutations, hold plank for 10 breaths, and chair pose for 10 breaths. Boom 💥 WARM! 😎

‼️ Basic Yoga at 12:00 with Grand Rapids Parks and Rec is CANCELLED TODAY ‼️ We will keep you all posted on the status of the evening classes. Perhaps, stay home, roll out your mat, and just sit in Chair Pose for 10 minutes instead 😆 I promise this will warm you up and get your blood flowing 😎

We will do a makeup class on March 2nd!! ♥️
