The Crocus: This delicate bloom pushing through the chilled earth feels like a whisper of God's promise.

Growing up in ND, the first crocus was always a sign. After what felt like endless winter – the wind, the sub-zero temps – this delicate purple bloom was pure hope. It still reminds me that even when life feels cold and barren, the strength and beauty of Christ can push through. He is our resilience, our renewal, blooming in us even when the world is still thawing.

Last spring I walked out my front to find this flower growing in the sidewalk crack. It brought me to tears during a very challenging time in our lives.
Ever feel like your dream is up against a wall? Or your potential isn’t being met? Like you are made for more? This image reminds me that what God puts within us is resilient and determined. That yearning that won't go away? It's a seed of purpose waiting for you to cultivate it. It’s going to keep showing up where you least expect it to remind you of the plans He has for you. Imagine what will happen if we nurture the potential He's given us. ❤️

Motivation is the effect. ACTION is the cause.
So just - begin.

The hunger for others praise can consume and destroy who you were designed to be. Be who He created. He did not make a mistake in you.

If someone crosses your mind, stop and pray for them. If it happens again, pray AND reach out. He’s working in you.

YOU DON’T GOT THIS!

If you are not a believer in Jesus Christ you may be offended by that first line. But I encourage you to give this message a shot.

Current trend: Solely depend on ourselves - our own thoughts - our own ways.

We depend on others to be with us, encourage us, believe in us, walk with us, and quite frankly they can let us down. Friends, spouses, and family. So we stand alone and we decide we don’t need anybody, we’ve got this on our own.

In my Life Couching course work I recall a teacher saying, “Everything you need to succeed, you have inside of you.”
But there is more to it, she did not know.

Here’s the thing - our creator did not design you to do it on your own. He loves you too much to leave you. He would never say, “YOU got this.” He says, “I’VE got this.”

Your creator knows what it’s like. He came to earth and lived life perfectly, suffering through enormous trials and tribulations, being taunted by THE devil himself and though murdered unjustly, in His last few breaths He still forgave those who beat, stabbed, taunted and tortured HIM. He still forgave those who traded His freedom for that of a serial killer. He forgave those who shouted, spit, taunted, and persecuted Him. Can you imagine?

He understands how hard and harsh this world can be. He is worth learning more about.

He will never leave you. He reaches out to you, to be with you through it all and if you accept Him for the legit savior that He is, when your life on earth has ended, He will take you home and away from the harshness of it all, and He will give you peace.

“Everything you need to succeed, you have inside you”…WHEN you believe in Jesus Christ, because when Christ ascended into heaven He left with us the Holy Spirit. You can invite Him into your life right now.

YOU DONT GOT THIS.

HE’S GOT THIS

HE’S GOT YOU ❤️🙏💪

Please DM me if you wish to learn more. Praying for those who need to hear this today.

Here is scripture from the Holy Christian Bible from which you can learn more.

On God's presence and support:
* Isaiah 41:10: "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." ( This scripture Tddresses the feeling of being alone and overwhelmed.)
* Deuteronomy 31:6: "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” (God's constant presence and commitment.)
* Matthew 28:20: "...And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Jesus' promise of perpetual companionship.)
* Psalm 23:4: "Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me." (For comfort and guidance in difficult times.)
* Hebrews 13:5: "...because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”" (The promise of God's unwavering presence.)
On strength through Christ:
* Philippians 4:13: "I can do all this through him who gives me strength." (Directly contradicts the "you've got this" mentality and points to the source of true strength.)
* 2 Corinthians 12:9: "But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me." (God's strength is available even when we feel weak.)
On the Holy Spirit:
* John 14:16-17: "And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you." (The Holy Spirit's presence after Christ's ascension.)
* Romans 8:26: "Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words." (The Holy Spirit's active role in our lives.)
On God's love:
* John 3:16: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (A powerful reminder of God's love and the reason for Christ's sacrifice.)
* Romans 8:38-39: "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (The unwavering nature of God's love.)

Is Jealousy Stealing Your Joy? 🎄

During the holidays, while some are celebrating, others may be feeling the weight of disappointment and comparison. Seeing others' successes while you're facing challenges can easily lead to bitterness and resentment, just like Cain in the Bible.
Cain, consumed by jealousy, allowed his emotions to control his actions. He let bitterness fester, leading to destructive choices.
Joy is a resilient cheerfulness anchored in God's goodness, not circumstances. It's about trusting God's plan for your life, even when it feels uncertain or unfair.
Let's learn to celebrate others' successes and trust that God is working in your life too.

Ready to cultivate more joy in your life? DM me for a free consultation and let's explore how Christian Life Coaching can help you find peace and purpose.

Satan was the first to press the concept of focus on self. If you recall in the garden, he encouraged Eve to eat the forbidden fruit and convinced her that she would be all-knowing - like God, that she could control her own life, expressing a lack for the need of God. Sound familiar? Current culture would suggest the same idea. What comes to mind? You do you! Take some "ME" time, You have one life so do what makes you happy. The world wishes for you to be in control, to hold power in order to be happy.
As believers, we are to dwell on His love, His sacrifice for us, and His plan for our lives which undoubtedly somehow involves service and humility versus dwelling on self and gratification. This fills us with joy in the spirit which is much different from earthly happiness. Genesis 3:5, we read of the enemy's LIE in which he says that the Lord does not want her to eat from it because she will be all-knowing like God.
Do not forget that the enemy's plan is to make you doubt God and then walk away from God completely as you bask in self-gratification.
We cannot immerse ourselves in service/humility while basking in control/self-service. Matthew 23:12, "Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted." If we work to serve others, through our purpose given by God and share the gospel, we place our lives in the hands of the Lord. There is no better place to be.
