This is interesting.
When I was teaching meditation at Solace Yoga School and I’d give the exercise of sitting and focusing on the breath for 2 mins.; after I’d ask how it went and some students had many thoughts and some said they had none.
Which are you?
If your mind is very busy, practice meditating 🧘🏽 🧘🏼♀️ every day in the morning for 5-10 min for 8-10 weeks and then watch how much easier it becomes for you to quiet the mind when needed. Research shows it takes a minimum of 8 weeks to see the prefrontal cortex start to change and (become present).
