So often we think something is wrong with our body.

But more often than not, symptoms are simply signals that something needs support.

When we look a little deeper and start to understand what’s been depleted or what may have built up over time, we can begin to support the body in a way that allows it to rebalance and function as designed. ✨

Fasting insulin is one of the earliest signals your body gives you 💡

It can start rising years before we see changes in fasting glucose or A1C.

It’s also one of the earliest markers of insulin resistance.

And as insulin resistance develops, it can begin to impact how you feel day to day → energy, mood, and weight.

Over time, this pattern of blood sugar dysregulation can contribute to common conditions like high cholesterol, type 2 diabetes, and even cognitive decline. 😩

This is why I like using fasting insulin as an added screening tool. 👏 We can identify what’s happening beneath the surface and support the body early.

Most conventional lab ranges consider insulin “normal” up to about 24.

From a functional perspective, we’re typically looking closer to 3–8 (and sometimes a bit tighter depending on the person and context). 📈

If you’ve never had it checked, it may be worth asking for on your next blood draw. 🩸

Processed meats are back in the headlines, but what does that actually mean for your health? 🥓

In this episode, we break down the research, explain nitrates in simple terms, and unpack what “nitrate-free” really means.

You’ll walk away with practical insight and feel more confident in your choices at the store.

Feeling like nothing is working can be one of the most frustrating places to be. 😕

This client felt stuck with constant bloating and GI discomfort, and like nothing was going to change.

We used functional labs to get a clear picture of what was going on, then built a personalized plan to support her gut, stress, and daily habits.

With time and consistency, her symptoms began to lift → less bloating, less discomfort, more ease around food, and making space for self-care in a way that actually felt doable. 🫶✨

I support women with fatigue, gut and hormone-related symptoms, and stubborn weight by helping them get to the root of what’s going on.

Your mood is deeply connected to what’s happening in your gut.

When we understand what’s behind symptoms, we can begin to support the body in a more intentional way.

High triglycerides are not just about fat intake.

When the body takes in more carbohydrates than it can use or store, the excess is converted in the liver into triglycerides and released into circulation. 💡

The first few things I evaluate are blood sugar balance, insulin resistance, and liver burden.

If you’d like to learn more about how I support my clients, you’re welcome to book a Discovery Call. 📞 I’d love to see if we’re a good fit. 💕

Sharing a little holiday throwback! 🎥✨

A couple of years ago, I shared these holiday nutrition tips on live TV, and they’re still just as true today. 👏

It’s a good reminder as we head into Thanksgiving week.

Hi friends! ✨ It feels good to be back!

I had a little tech glitch with my page (gotta love it 😅), but everything’s sorted and I’m excited to share here again!

To kick things off, here’s my most recent Costco haul — perfect for quick, healthy meals during the holiday season. I hope it gives you some ideas for keeping things simple and nourishing this time of year. ❤️
