**Training Update**
I am now comfortable classifying Mr. Finch as a SDiT (Service Dog in Training) instead of "just" a prospect.

As there is not a governing body in the United States formally overseeing service dogs that decision is based on my own criteria, standards, and experience.

For Finch to move from prospect to SDiT I wanted to see that he had, at minimum, met my criteria in health, temperament, environmental stability, recovery from unexpected or stressful stimuli, work drive versus distractions, and consistent handler focus.

At the end of the day, the main question I asked myself was: has Finch demonstrated enough stability and potential that I’m ready and willing to fully invest in task training and public access work with him? That answer is yes!

We are very excited to keep moving forward together.
