The afternoon was filled with delicious food, laughter, and meaningful time spent together celebrating the strong sense of community within our LTC family. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make Nursing Home Week so special for our residents! ❤️

Our Long-Term Care residents had a colorful day getting creative with tie-dye shirts! 🎨🌈 Residents enjoyed spending time together, choosing bright colors and creating their own unique designs. Activities like these not only spark creativity, but also bring smiles, laughter, and lasting memories. We love seeing our residents express themselves and have fun together! 💙

Movie night was a hit for our Long-Term Care residents! 🍿🎬 Residents gathered in the cafeteria to enjoy a fun evening filled with snacks, laughter, and a great movie together.

Creating opportunities for fellowship, entertainment, and special memories is just one of the many ways we strive to make Long-Term Care feel like home. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported our Summer Safety Event! We are incredibly grateful for the community support that helped make the day a success. From hands-on safety demonstrations to community engagement and family fun, it was a wonderful opportunity to promote summer safety while bringing our community together.

Congratulations to the winners of our two kayak giveaways! We hope you enjoy your prizes and have a fun and safe summer on the water.

Minnie Hamilton Health System, in partnership with Calhoun County Middle/High School, has been named a 2026 Regional Winner of the Hope for the Future: School-Business Partnership of the Year Award presented by Hope Gas and the Education Alliance.

Calhoun County Middle/High School and Minnie Hamilton Health System have developed an innovative partnership that brings medical and dental care directly into the school building. Minnie Hamilton provides on-site healthcare professionals and equipment, while the school coordinates scheduling, space, and support so students can receive care without missing significant class time.

This partnership has helped improve attendance, reduce barriers related to transportation and family schedules, and identify health concerns before they become more serious. By offering preventive care, screenings, and treatment within the school, the program supports both student wellness and academic success while providing a student-centered approach to healthcare in a rural community.

As part of this honor, the partnership was recognized for fostering innovation, student success, and meaningful community impact across the region. Minnie Hamilton Health System and Calhoun County Middle/High School are also now finalists for the statewide award to be presented later this academic year.

We are honored to receive this recognition and remain committed to creating opportunities that positively impact the students and families we serve. Congratulations to everyone involved in making this partnership a success!
