Mommy Makeover: Defining the Silhouette

This patient wanted to improve the appearance of her breasts and abdomen after multiple pregnancies. She had a narrow torso with well defined hips at baseline, which I was able to highlight with liposuction and an abdominoplasty. Lifted, Not “Pulled”: Facelift, Fat Grafting, Upper Blepharoplasty

Gone are the days of the “pulled tight” facelift look. Natural is in. The goal is to look like you, just refreshed. The goal is NOT to look like you had a facelift.

The 3 big factors that I assess when looking at facelift results are the neck (is it defined, soft, and natural?), the jawline (is it smooth and continuous?) and the midface (is the volume and cheekbone fullness restored?). This patient’s comprehensive facial rejuvenation also included an upper blepharoplasty - subtle, but it completes the look.

Augmentation & Lift + Internal Bra: Upper Pole Fullness

One of the most common goals I hear patients voice during consultations is a desire for improved “upper pole fullness”. The most reliable way I know how to accomplish this is using an implant. In select cases I’ll also use an internal bra technique to stabilize the implant in its proper position, maximizing this effect. For this patients goals, I performed a breast lift and augmentation using 445 cc gummy bear implants and Galaflex mesh for internal support.

She underwent a circumferential abdominoplasty (body lift) with muscle repair to restore her curves and abdominal contour.
