Beyond Mind Body Reach your goals and beyond. Relaxed, at ease, pain free. Although this meant return business for me my priorities are for you to feel, live and be better.

I have been practicing Mind/Body healing professionally for over 12 years and I have been serving the Nevada County area for over 5 years. After helping many clients with pain and tension in their bodies I noticed that when people leave a bodywork session they feel great. And then they return to the same life style, the same habits and the same ways of thinking, and return to me after a few weeks to a month with the same pain and tension. I realized that the mind is what causes stress, tension and pain in the body so I studied the most potent ways to help you transform your mind, on all levels. I began using Strategic NLP, Life Coaching and Mind/Body Hypnosis to help people transform the underling causes of their tension and pain... and their bodies got better. And their lives got better. Even chronic pain that no practitioner could bring relief to got better, and didn't come back. Now I work with people in Mind and Body and get results that are not limited to either. Helping bring you to the next level in your mind, body and life. Working with people going through or initiating major transitions. Using powerful techniques to rewire the mind, restructure the body and re-balancing the breath to align you with your higher purpose. Building resilience naturally through training the nervous system and releasing stress and tension.

Thoughts on stress and resilience- transitioning from an initial stance of resistance, through the embracing arms of acceptance, and into the steadfast path of persistence.

This transformative journey not only reshapes our engagement with life's stressors but also deepens our connection to our true selves, often hidden behind fears and defensive self preservation strategies, thus revealing our innate capacity for resilience.

Understanding Resistance:
Resistance, while a common initial reaction to stress, serves as a double-edged sword. It is the body's and mind's attempt to ward off perceived threats, yet this very resistance can amplify the stress it aims to mitigate. The energy expended in resisting stress often locks us into a cycle of tension and anxiety, preventing us from moving forward and addressing the root causes of our discomfort. The more we resist, the deeper we sink into the quicksand of stress, making it difficult to free ourselves and find solid ground.

The Power of Acceptance:
Transitioning from resistance to acceptance marks a pivotal point in our journey. Acceptance here is not about passivity or surrender but about acknowledging the present moment with openness and willingness. This shift allows us to see our situation with clarity and compassion, freeing us from the shackles of denial and contention. Through acceptance, we recognize stress in any form as an integral aspect of the human experience, one that carries potential lessons and pathways for growth.

Acceptance empowers us to respond to stress with intention rather than react out of fear or habit. It opens the door to creative solutions and healthier coping strategies, laying the groundwork for true transformation. In this space of acceptance, we find the resilience to face our challenges and the flexibility to adapt to the ever-changing dynamics of life.

Cultivating Persistence:
From the fertile ground of acceptance sprouts the virtue of persistence—our ability to continue moving forward, armed with the wisdom and strength garnered from our experiences. Persistence is the active embodiment of our commitment to growth, healing, balance, and ultimately to Life. It is the practice of applying the lessons learned, staying true to our path, and adapting with grace to life's inevitable changes and challenges.

In my own journey through stress and resilience, the teachings and practices of Systema have been instrumental. Systema, the Russian martial art known for its holistic approach to self-discovery and personal development, offers profound insights into the nature of stress(fear), resilience, and the mind-body connection. It teaches us to face life's challenges with adaptability, strength, and inner calm.

Within us, the heart and lungs dance together in a symphony of breath and life, embodying the ancient wisdom of the middle burner in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). 🍃💖 This harmonious duo, taking in the gas - the ethereal essence of our world - circulates this vital force throughout our being, blending the outer universe with our innermost selves. They remind us of the profound cycle of receiving and returning, a sacred exchange that nourishes our essence and extends our energies back into the world.

This miraculous process is not merely a physical function but a spiritual bridge connecting us to the vastness of life itself. Through each breath, through every heartbeat, we are invited into a deeper understanding of our place in the cosmos. Breathing becomes an act of communion, feeling a pathway to transcendence, guiding us to discover meaning, purpose, and identity in the expansive tapestry of existence.

The journey to realizing this boundless connection begins within the heart. By releasing the blocks that shadow our hearts - fear, unresolved emotions, the sensations we dare not face - we unlock the door to an ever-present connection, just a breath away. 🌬️❤️ It’s in healing these inner wounds that we find the courage to open our hearts fully to the life force that binds us to everything.

As we navigate the waters of existence, let us embrace this. Let this knowledge guide us to live with an open heart, to breathe with intention, and to engage with the world in a dance of give and take. Through this conscious practice, we uncover our true purpose and identity, rooted in the profound interconnectedness of all things.

Today, let us commit to this journey of unblocking, healing, and opening. Let us remember that with every breath, we have the opportunity to connect to something greater, to weave our individual threads into the grand design of the universe. 🌌💫

Taking a moment to pause and connect with my breath used to be a conscious practice, and now it's a unconscious habit.

It's amazing how something so simple can have such a profound impact on our well-being.

Who else finds solace in their breath?

Your pain is a gift.

Pain is a sensation telling you that something needs to change.

Physical or emotional.

That sensation is a signal to motivate you to change.

If the pain is strong enough you will do what ever necessary to change

There were other signals before but you didn’t tune in.

Now you have the signal to make the change

What are you waiting for?

I recently had a good conversation with a friend and colleague where he reminded me about a less understood truth:

You will find what you’re looking for!

More so you find what your unconscious is looking for.

If you have habituated your self to be looking for pain, problems, struggles, scary things you will find that!

If you are unconsciously looking for blessings, gifts, abundance, love, joy you will find that.

Many people say they are looking for love but they notice everything that’s wrong with a person. Or they are looking for abundance but they notice all of the obstacles and excuses. Or they want to be free of pain but they have trained themselves to look for the pain, so that’s what they find.

Its because your nervous system, your unconscious has been programmed through traumatic events to see these things and you will find what you are looking for.

But you can change these unconscious programs, these patterns , these perspectives,

All you need is the right tools, the right guidance, and the right support

The original and most pervasive trauma is the separation from nature

This is vulnerable because I’m still working on this one.

Of course the idea that humans are separate from nature is a strange linguistic fallacy, similar to the mind being separate from the body.

The majority of trauma comes down through the generations. /from your parents, who got it from their parents, from their parents, form their culture, from society, etc. forever.

And if you follow lineages back far enough you see that pretty much every culture is at one time a diasporic, displaced, refugee, colonizing, violent, hurt, deeply wounded, and home sick people.

Every group identified people has been the victim, the perpetrators and the savior at different times in their history. Because we are all human.

And before that…?

Before we were all connected, and all related to all life.

We still are but our society creates the belief that we are separate.
And the trauma of being separate causes armor which keeps us from connecting.

Before you could lay down on the earth and feel held by a Life Giving, Compassionate, and Caring Mother

and know that all of your needs would be taken care of no matter what

Because you were in right relationship and had intimate knowledge and connection with everything around you.

You would know exactly where food, water, shelter, warmth, and fun where and they were always close by.

You would never feel lonely because your community was every living creature and you understood each other.

The loss of that connection is the biggest trauma. Is society’s trauma. It’s civilization’s trauma.

And deep down we all long for that connection.

This is the first trauma. This is the source trauma for society. This is the beginning of the chain that causes all the pain.

And breaking that chain that binds you is the pathway back to wholeness

And True Freedom
