The Kiwanis Gravette Club hosted a legislative forum this Friday morning, September 5, with guests Rep. Hope Duke, Senator Tyler Dees and Senator Jim Dotson. These 3 legislators all represent the town of Gravette. They each gave updates and answered questions about the current legislative session.

Sharon Horwart, our Kiwanis Lieutenant Governor, presented our club with a patch for contributing to the Earl Collins Scholarship Fund.

The Kiwanis Gravette breakfast club will host a legislative forum this Friday morning,
September 5, with guests Rep. Hope Duke, Senator Tyler Dees and Senator Jim Dotson. These 3 legislators all represent the town of Gravette. They will each give an update and then take questions and comments. This is a great opportunity to visit with your legislators and share any concerns or feedback with them.

Our Kiwanis breakfast club meets this Friday at 7am at the Ozarks Community Hospital annex. Visitors are always welcome. The OCH cafe offers a wonderful and very reasonably priced breakfast. Come join us for an informative and always fun start to your Friday.

Gravette Kiwanis is celebrating its 50th birthday this year. We had a float at Gravette Days and enjoyed seeing the whole community turn out. We will be announcing how to come to our club's 50th anniversary celebration on September 20th.

The Gravette Kiwanis Gravette Days Pancake breakfast was a big success. Thank you to all that came and participated. We do service projects and scholarships for children in our community. Come and join the fun at our meeting this Friday morning at 7 AM in the OCH Hospital annex.

Gravette Kiwanis Club is proud to be able to award 3 $1000 scholarships to Gabriel Carrier, Jace Keller, and Jerri Notestine. Eliza Por also was presented the Earl Collins Kiwanis Scholarship for the MOARK District. Scholarships for our community come from fundraisers such as our annual pancake sales. Presenting scholarships is past president Nancy Jones.

Paul Taylor, who is the CEO of Ozarks Community Hospital was our speaker for Gravette Kiwanis this morning. He spoke about the challenges facing rural health care.
