We’ve had a busy day here, Lucas has been up and down feeling better then sick. He made slime and built legos with Sara from Childlife. Jay's HOPE Foundation had him some brownies door dashed for breakfast and hibachi for lunch.
He begged for tea tonight and I made a dash across to Dunkin in the pouring rain and got soaked all for a sweet little “thank you mommy”

Update from his doctor… he does have para flu, astrovirus and norovirus. His ANC is in the 100 range which is too low to go home, and his potassium is low. He’s been on antibiotics, fluids, and potassium drip. Both hus doctor’s told us to plan for a longer stay. Im hopeful for a short one 🤪

Thank you everyone for checking in on us.
We are on the home stretch of his cancer journey, but keeping him fed and entertained at the hospital is a tough task. 🤪

Lucas is in the ER tonight for a fever. Fairly low, but still has to go.
He’s been feeling bad and having diarrhea for a few days now but hopefully he will just get to get some fluids and head home.

Start to finish of Lucas's spinal tap this morning.
He was in such a good mood, then the access went rough and his port wouldn't pull blood. They had to TPN it and after is sat for an hour it worked. He was very hangry and his procedure didn't start til 1:30.
He is now all done and resting at home! Thank you everyone that sent prayers this morning.

I haven’t been posting since we got out of the hospital, but Lucas had some time off of his chemo since his counts dropped. It was so good for him. He has been feeling great, playing, running and eating great.
He did start back chemo this past Monday and had his monthly infusion this Thursday, so he has started to feel a little sick here and there and we can already tell he’s asking to be carried more again, but overall he seems to be doing good.
Yesterday he got to go ride horses at Brave Meadows Therapeutic Riding Center and Feathered Friends with his brothers and he absolutely loved it!
He has been playing wee ball also. I’m posting pictures since I’m so behind on posting.
