Great Falls Hospital

Great Falls Hospital Delivering compassionate, personalized care to all. Our responsibility as we continue to grow is to create more value for the patients we serve.

Founded in 1917, the Great Falls Hospital and Great Falls Clinic are the fourth oldest medical clinic west of the Mississippi. Originally based on the vision that quality healthcare need not be confined to large urban centers, our mission today is focused on becoming Montana’s healthcare choice. To accomplish our goal, we strive to assess and meet the needs of the 250,000 residents living in the seventeen north central Montana counties that we serve. As a leader in the Great Falls medical delivery system, the Great Falls Clinic works hard as a team of providers to institute positive change for our patients throughout Montana. Recruiting and retaining the most contemporary physicians and employees requires the latest in technology development. We must utilize these available technologies to meet the needs of an aging population and create more value for the patients we serve. The combination of physicians and employees working together to improve patient care is our commitment and can be defined as “Team Care.” This means striving to constantly perform better services and to create more value for the people we serve. One thing that will not change moving forward is that we will continue to have physicians and employees working together to bring the population of Montana the best healthcare possible. Our Great Falls Clinic team will continue to provide leadership in medicine through teamwork.

This week we honor the hands that feed our hospitals. The ones who turn ingredients into comfort, and kitchens into places of healing - the hospital food service team!

Every day of the year, healthcare food service workers show up before the sun rises and long after it sets. The ovens are hot, the water’s boiling, and the rhythm of preparation begins — chopping, cooking, plating, and cleaning — all to ensure that every patient, visitor, and staff member receives a meal made with care. Thank you, all, for everything you do!

Join us in celebrating Avery Croff, RN, the second quarter DAISY Award Honoree.

During a time of transition and uncertainty for her patient, Avery showed what it means to truly care for those who need it most. Her patients shared their experience with Avery in their nomination form:

"She is a nurse who combines unshakable professionalism with extraordinary compassion. Her attention to detail is matched only by the warmth she extends to those in her care. She advocated for me, offered emotional support, and anticipated my needs before I knew to voice them. In a time of fear, chaos, and change, Avery was my anchor. She is not only a navigator through a complex system. I am profoundly grateful that I had her in my corner. Avery embodies everything the DAISY award stands for, and more."

Thank you, Avery, for your dedication to the oncology patients and to the Great Falls Clinic Hospital. You are such a rock star!

Our Story

The Great Falls Clinic is a multi-specialty group medical practice emphasizing primary practice care, related secondary level medical specialties and urgent care. Founded in 1917, the Great Falls Clinic is the fourth oldest medical clinic west of the Mississippi. Originally based on the vision that quality healthcare need not be confined to large urban centers, our mission today is focused on becoming Montana's healthcare choice. To accomplish our goal, we strive to assess and meet the needs of the 225,000 residents living in the seventeen north central Montana counties that we serve. The combination of physicians and employees working together to improve patient care is our commitment and can be defined as "Team Care." This means striving to constantly perform better services and to create more value for the people we serve. The Great Falls Clinic is proud to be the largest independent group of physicians in Montana, but also understands that with that comes responsibility. Our responsibility as we continue to grow is to create more value for the patients we serve. One thing that will not change moving forward is that we will continue to have physicians and employees working together to bring the population of Montana the best healthcare possible. Our Great Falls Clinic team will continue to provide leadership in medicine through teamwork.
