My name is Freddie Brewington, and I am a United States Marine, having served in active duty for 13 years. I began helping fellow veterans after experiencing a long a dreadful journey navigating the VA system with many obstacles and setbacks. After separating from active duty, I was unaware, like many veterans I have met, about the disability claims process and VA heal
thcare in general. I suffered from diabetes and cancer, which led to an extensive list of medical bills that brought a huge amount of stress to my life. I learned about VA healthcare and that there was a possibility for me to file for disability. From this point forward I was able to receive the medical attention I needed without having to pay out of pocket for it all. I decided to file for disability as well, but I had no help in the process which led to many delays, but I was finally able to get my disability rating up and receive my benefits. Due to all the unnecessary hardships I faced because I was not familiar with this process, I decided I would start my own business geared towards helping veterans navigate the VA. I have worked with more than a hundred veterans nationwide to help them find jobs after the military, help them utilize educational benefits, maximize their VA healthcare benefits and guide them through the disability claims process.
