Who knew...
You Probably Drink šLEMON and LIME oils!!!!!
Now some surprising news about the uses of šLemon and Lime oils. You wonāt believe this, but itās true. We may often think that the world of aromatherapy is the major consumer market segment for essential oils. This may be true for some oils that are not ingested. Well when it comes to ingestible Citrus oils, aromatherapy is a very, very small consumer.
šLemon and Lime essential oils are mainly used by the commodity markets of soft drinks and juices. This is fortunate, because the commodity market helps keep the price of Lemon and Lime oils constant and low. We all like that!!!!! About 80% of the global Lemon and Lime oils are used in drinks ā mainly soft drinks (soda pop).
You may know them as š7-Up, Sprite, Sierra Mist, Mountain Dew, Fanta, Canada Dry, Mello Yellow, Slice, Shasta, Faygo, Moon Mist, Mist Twst, Teem, Bubble Up, Banta, Citra, Kick, Fizzy, Joneās, Dadās, Upper 10, Limca, Ramune, Vess, or Fruktsodaš.
Lemon and lime oils is also used in cola soft drinks. Coca Cola and Pepsi Cola are the two major brands with all their flavor and sugar-free varieties. In some countries you may have also heard of šMr. Pibb, Tab, RC Cola, Mecca-Cola, Est Cola, Diet Rite, Virgin Cola, TuCola, Peru Cola, Premium-Cola, OpenCola, LikeCola, Kola Roman, Kola Real, Kola Inglesa, and Kitty Kolaš.
Imagine a world without carbonated soft-drinks. (I typically only drink them when Iām in a foreign country where it is safer to drink soft-drinks than it is to drink the local water). Iāll bet that 80% of your friends on Facebook drink at least 16 ounces of carbonated soft-drinks every day. Some people drink as much as 128 ounces per day!
Itās amazing to think that drinking these šLemon & Lime essential oil flavored soft-drinks can influence your body and emotions.
