From rehabilitation to independent living, to assisted living onto long-term care, we can help residents at whatever stage they need. Woodside serves all faiths and we believe in the dignity and worth of every individual. Generations of families call Woodside home. Our long history of quality and personalized care includes a dedicated staff and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Woodside offers a full continuum of care at the highest level all on one campus. This not only makes moving from one facility to another convenient, it adds the comfort and security of belonging to a community of familiar faces. Our full-time pastor provides pastoral care throughout our campus. Worship services are offered in our beautiful, on-site chapel for multiple denominations. The serene, 18-acre campus is full of mature trees, gardens and walking paths, yet close to shopping, restaurants and businesses. Woodside is part of Bay Area Lutheran Homes, Inc., a non-profit organization made up of Green Bay area congregations of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. We welcome all denominations and our mission is to honor each person’s individuality, deliver exceptional care, and maintain a family-oriented community for our residents.

✨ A Night of Gratitude at Woodside! ✨

Last night we gathered for our Annual Meeting—a cherished tradition where we come together with the Pastors and Delegates from the 17 Lutheran churches who helped Woodside open our doors back in 1968. Their support laid the foundation for the mission we continue today, and we are so grateful for their continued partnership. 🙏💛

It was an evening filled with reflection, connection, and celebration as we shared updates from the past year and recognized some incredible people who help make Woodside such a special place to call home.

👏 A big congratulations to:
• Judy Knudsen and Amy Hardtke celebrated for the completion of their dedicated service on our Board
• Northland Electric, Represented by Luke Weiner, Business Partner of the Year
• Tara Zywicki, Manager of the Year, who has been part of the Woodside family for over 25 years! Tara’s hard work, compassion, and leadership shine bright every single day, and we are so blessed to have her. 💚✨

🎰 Casino Day at IMAC = Jackpot of FUN! 🎉

We recently loaded up the bus and took our residents on an exciting trip to the IMAC Casino for a day of slot-spinning, card-shuffling, laughter-filled fun!

There were a few lucky hits 💵💥… but honestly, everyone walked away a winner because any day spent together making memories is a win in our book.

From the cheers at the machines to the stories shared on the ride home, it was truly a fantastic outing. ❤️

Congratulations to our October Employees of the Month!

Deo has worked for Woodside for almost thirty years in our Woodside Lutheran Home Dietary Department and was nominated by a coworker! She said "he is outstanding, giving and a selfless person. Everyone can see his happy go lucky attitude and know he enjoys his job. He even gives us songs and a few dance moves to enjoy!"

Kim has been a caregiver at Woodside for almost a year and is a fantastic addition to Woodside Manor! She was nominated by a resident's family member who said "she always has a smile and gives gentle loving care. She never complains and really cares about everyone's needs."

Thank you both for everything you do and congratulations!

🥳 Game On at Woodside! 🥳

Sometimes the best games are the ones you make up — and our residents proved that with a spirited round of noodle ball! 🎈 Using noodles, balloons and plenty of laughter, the action was fast, the competition was friendly, and the smiles were plentiful.

Everyone came out a winner in this one — because when you’re having fun and staying active with friends, that’s the real victory! 💚

🦷💙 A Big Smile-Filled Thank You! 💙🦷

We had some very special visitors at Woodside recently! Matt Hallas from Bay Lake Center for Complex Dentistry and his amazing group of Cub Scouts brought smiles, kindness, and free dental supplies for our residents — plus a little expert dental advice to keep those smiles shining bright!

Our residents absolutely loved the thoughtful gesture and enjoyed chatting with the scouts. It’s heartwarming to see our community come together in such meaningful ways.

Thank you, Matt, the Bay Lake Center team, and all the Cub Scouts for spreading joy, caring for our seniors, and reminding us how powerful a friendly visit can be. Your kindness made our day! 🦷😊💚

What an incredible day at the **Green Bay Chamber of Commerce – Find Your Inspiration** event at The Resch Center! 🎉 Over 3,600 8th graders came out to explore local organizations and future career paths — and we loved being part of their journey!

At the Woodside booth, we talked about the care, compassion, and heart it takes to work in healthcare ❤️ and introduced students to three great ways to get started — including dietary positions starting at age 14! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Each student also wrote a **fun and inspiring note** to our residents to brighten their day, and our Life Enrichment teams will be reading them aloud throughout our campuses. The messages were thoughtful, creative, and full of kindness — we can’t wait for our residents to hear them!

🎃👻 What a ghoulishly great time we had at our annual Halloween Trick-or-Treat at Woodside today! 🕸️

From the joy on our residents’ faces as they handed out candy to the pure excitement on the kids’ faces — and of course, the thrills of our kid-friendly haunted house — it was truly a fang-tastic day! 💀🍬

🍁 With the cooler fall weather rolling in, there’s no better way to warm up than with a bowl of homemade chili and a little music for the soul! 🌶️🎶

Our staff and residents enjoyed a cozy afternoon filled with super yummy chili and the sweet sounds of our favorite harpist, Jill, who returned to Woodside to tickle our ears with her beautiful tunes. ❤️

🎃 Pumpkin spice filled the air at The Oaks today! Our Cooking with Companions group whipped up some delicious pumpkin muffins — complete with cinnamon chips! (Who knew those existed?!) 😋🧁

The whole place smelled amazing, and there were smiles all around as everyone enjoyed a taste of fall. 🍂

Our residents and staff can’t wait to welcome you and deliver a spooktacular afternoon full of Halloween magic! 🎃✨

And don't forget about the sweetest candy monster on earth! He is waiting to greet you in our lobby at 1040 Pilgrim Way. He loves your candy donations. It warms his heart and fills his belly, and allows us to put lots of smiles on lots of faces. Thanks to everyone who has donated so far!

Our residents and staff got a special visit from some adorable furry friends, and let’s just say the smiles and cuddles were nonstop! It’s pretty much impossible to resist the playful charm of a kitten — and these little ones definitely brightened our day. 😻✨
