Woodside is part of Bay Area Lutheran Homes, Inc., a non-profit organization made up of Green Bay area congregations of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. What’s happening this week at Woodside, you ask? Just your average week of tons of fun!! 😄

We warmed our hearts (and our bellies!) with homemade chicken soup while sharing stories and reminiscing about some of the great times from years gone by. And because sharing is what we do best, we even made dry soup mixes to pass along and spread a little comfort to others. 🍲💛

As if that wasn’t enough, Steve stopped by with his clarinet and had us tapping our toes and singing along to some familiar favorites. 🎶 From the first note to the final chorus, we were singing and smiling!

That’s the beauty of life at Woodside — you never quite know what kind of fun is coming next. One day it’s musical entertainment, the next it’s arts and crafts, storytelling, laughter, and memory-making.

Around here, the fun just keeps rolling — and we wouldn’t have it any other way. 💚

🎭💜💛 The Mardi Gras fun keeps rolling at Woodside! 💛💜🎭

The beads were back, the masks were on, and the masquerading continued as we turned up the excitement with… 🥁 Mardi Gras BINGO!!

Why? Because let’s be honest — any time is a good time for Bingo! 🎉

Between the festive flair, lots of laughs, and a little friendly competition, our residents had an absolute blast celebrating New Orleans style. If you listened closely, you might’ve even heard a few “Bingo!” calls echoing louder than the jazz on Bourbon Street. 🎷

At Woodside, we don’t need an excuse to celebrate — but Mardi Gras sure is a fun one!

We turned Woodside into our very own Bourbon Street when Allen Klein stopped by to help us celebrate Mardi Gras in style! From classic hits that had everyone singing along to colorful masquerade masks and beads galore, the energy was absolutely contagious.

If you closed your eyes, you could almost hear the sounds of New Orleans and feel the festive spirit in the air. 🎶✨ But the best part? Sharing the laughter, music, and joy together as a community.

We’re proud to spotlight one of our incredibly talented tenants at The Oaks — Gail! Gail has been a leader in many of our craft projects and is always willing to share her creative gifts with others. From guiding group activities to inspiring new artists, she brings such positive energy to every project.

The Winter Olympics may be happening on the world stage… but things are just as competitive here at Woodside! 🏅🎈

We decided to host our very own Olympic event — Balloon Volleyball! While it may not be an official sport (yet 😉), after watching our athletes in action, we’re convinced it’s only a matter of time.

From impressive sets to powerful spikes (and plenty of laughter in between), our team brought the energy and the fun. If balloon volleyball ever makes its Olympic debut, don’t be surprised if you see Team Woodside standing on the podium, proudly taking home the gold! 🥇

We’ve been on a roll with some fun, odd-ball combinations lately at Woodside… and this one was a STRIKE! 🎳🎨

After all, someone had to be the first to put peanut butter and jelly together to realize they were a perfect match… so why not painting and bowling?

First, our residents put their creative caps on and painted some seriously awesome masterpieces. 🎨 Then it was time to switch gears, grab the bowling balls, and knock down some pins! 🎳 Brains and brawn all in one afternoon — now that’s what we call a winning combination.

Another fun-filled day, lots of laughs, and plenty of smiles at Woodside. We might just keep mixing things up… you never know what combo is coming next! 😄
