Then> Now- the caption still fits…my brain a year ago was a mess with what ifs- what if they take this job from me that meant the world to me…then we went to Chicago and I witnessed so much more and realized my impact could be so much greater…
Now-so at peace with my decision to chase those big dreams and feeling overwhelmingly relieved 🫶🏻
Last year’s caption 👇🏻
“In our dreams lies our unfinished work for the world.” - Joan Chittister
It always amazes me how we remain in our comfort zones for most of our lives- we only see the world through our tainted half full or half empty glass, we become entitled to the things so many people would give anything to experience and have, we believe our small problems are more important than anyone else’s...
Then when we finally step outside of our comfort zone we begin to open our eyes to reality and experience the deep meaning behind our purpose in life, its bigger than the small world we’ve grown accustomed to. It grows our awareness of true battles people are fighting every day...and lets us realize when it is time to rein it in and get focused on what really matters.
Every day | write- I will do better, be better and do what I can do change others lives-I truly feel that is what my purpose is- to make an impact- but when you’re in a big city and realize how little your impact is in this World it starts to make you dream even bigger- to BE even better- to DO even better.
If you’re not always re aligning your purpose with your vision- your mission will be lost in the comfort zones of your life.
