From empty to home takes a community.

Right now, a neighbor in our area has an empty living space and is in need of all household items. If you have anything to give, big or small, it can help create a fresh start.

Donations can be dropped off behind the shed that is located behind the MATURA Outreach Center
354 Public Square in Greenfield.

Your generosity helps turn a difficult moment into a new beginning. Thank you for caring for our community. ❤️

We want to gently remind our community about the “Touching Our Grief” Support Group.

Free. Ongoing. Open to anyone navigating the loss of a loved one.

Sometimes healing begins simply by sitting in a room where others understand. 💜

For details, see the flyer below or reach out to Joshua Binns at EveryStep.

A gentle reminder for today. You are doing more than you realize.Give yourself the same kindness you give to others.❤️

🌟Meet the Director! 🌟
Hi everyone! I’m Heather Schneider, and I am beyond excited to be bringing the Boys & Girls Club to the Greenfield community this summer!
I currently serve as the Director for our Adair site, and this work has truly become a huge part of my heart. Getting to build relationships with kids and families, watching kids grow in confidence, and being someone they can count on every day is something I don’t take lightly.
I’m married to Kahl, and together we have four kids: Quynton, Paxton, Treyton, and Brexton. My family is everything to me and the reason I care so deeply about creating a safe, positive place for kids. We moved to Iowa in 2011 from Hays, Kansas, and have loved being part of a small, supportive community ever since.
This spring you can catch me at track meets cheering on my youngest who is a senior. I also love camping, thrifting and supporting local community events whenever I can. I also have a slight house plant obsession.
I’m someone who loves staying busy, being involved, and making things happen. Whether it’s planning activities, organizing events, or just sitting down to have real conversations with kids, I try to put my whole heart into it.
I believe every kid deserves a place where they can just be themselves. Where they feel safe, have fun, build friendships, and know they belong. That’s exactly what I hope to create in Greenfield. Not just a program, but a place where kids are excited to be!
This new site means so much to me, and I’m incredibly excited (and a little nervous in the best way!) to get started. I can’t wait to meet all of you, hear your stories, and build something really special together.
If you see me around, please come say hi! I’d love to get to know you! ☀️
