Learning how to stop retraumatizing people under your leadership is critical.

Whole leadership creates stronger relationships and better communication.

Take time to understand the importance of being trauma sensitive, trauma informed and trauma responsive. Not only will others thrive, but so will you.

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗜’𝗺 𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀…

Recently, I made a business decision I promised I wouldn’t make. I told myself I wasn’t going to add more hours to my schedule. But when I felt the desire to increase my sales, the coach in me kicked in—and I started exploring my options.

I asked myself:
• 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘵, 𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘴𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘐 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦?

The answer? Adding just four more client hours per week.

That one small adjustment has led to steady growth over the past 60 days.

So why am I telling you this? Because sometimes, the breakthrough isn’t about a massive overhaul. It’s about making intentional tweaks.

When we get stuck, it’s often because we’re only considering two options: 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘸 𝘪𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘺. But growth usually lives somewhere in between—inside the small shifts we’re willing to try.

✨ If you’re feeling stuck or wondering what your next move could be, this is the kind of conversation I help my clients navigate. We don’t run from their fears, we expose them. Sometimes clarity comes faster than you think. You’re always welcome to reach out if you want to explore what’s possible.

Had a wonderful time yesterday working with some great folks speaking at Bravely’s webinar on 𝘞𝘰𝘳𝘬-𝘓𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘏𝘢𝘳𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘺.

Big thanks to Skai Dalziel from Guusto, and Erik Appel and Mark Turner, who are also a part of Bravely’s dedicated team. Grateful for the opportunity to share this moment together speaking with HR Partners about some of the most important conversations in today’s workplace.

Leadership matters. Well-being matters. We lead well when we lead whole. Let’s keep the conversation going.

Shifting work culture. Looking forward to sharing with HR leaders from across the country tomorrow.

NOW ACCEPTING CLIENTS FOR AUGUST

“I didn’t even realize how much I was holding until I sat down in this session. I walked away lighter, clearer, and more connected to what really matters.”

That’s the power of a Wholeness Reset.

It’s for the strong ones who’ve quietly slipped into survival mode. It’s for the leaders who carry everyone — but forget themselves. It’s for you, if you’ve been hoping, maybe even praying, for clarity.

In 90 minutes, we’ll:

✅ Clear out the clutter

✅ Identify what’s draining you

✅ Restore vision and peace

✅ Create your leadership rhythm from a place of wholeness

I’m only opening 12 spots for August.

𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙮 𝙄𝙨 𝙉𝙤𝙩 𝙖 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙮

Here’s what neuroscience tells us:

📍 Chronic worry is linked to hyperactivity in the amygdala (your brain’s fear center)
📍 …and reduced regulation in the prefrontal cortex (the part responsible for logic, planning, and emotional control)

In other words:
The more we worry, the less access we have to the very parts of the brain we need to lead effectively.

Let that sink in.

As leaders, we often wear our concern like a badge of honor—believing that if we’re not worried, we must not care enough.

But the truth is:
🧠 Worry clouds our thinking
🧠 Shrinks our ability to regulate emotions
🧠 And subtly drives reactive—not wise—decisions

Calm isn’t a luxury. It’s a leadership tool.
You don’t have to be “zen.” But you do need to be present. And presence starts with nervous system awareness.

Small daily habits like:
✔️ Mindful breathing
✔️ Journaling
✔️ Taking short breaks from stimulation
✔️ Practicing reflection over rumination

…can help bring your prefrontal cortex back online so you can lead with clarity—not cortisol.

👉 Your team doesn’t need a perfect leader.

They need a grounded one.

Happy Monday!

Ever feel like you’ve been wired differently…?

For a long time, I struggled to process what it meant to lead with a voice and vision that didn’t match the crowd.

Not better. Not louder. Just different.
More internal compass, less groupthink.

Now I’m starting to understand why I was never meant to follow the masses.

Like others, perhaps like you, I was designed to lead from a place of quiet inner strength.

If you’re one of those leaders who doesn’t quite fit the mold, but still carries the weight of responsibility with purpose and grace—you’re not alone.

You’re just uncommon. And that’s your superpower.

Do what you do the way you’re called to do it.

I totally agree that procrastination isn’t a personality flaw. It’s a pattern, often driven by underlying causes like perfectionism, fear, or emotional overload. For high-achieving leaders, it can also stem from decision fatigue.

With the right support and strategies—like reframing limiting beliefs, building emotional regulation skills, and creating clear, values-aligned goals—procrastination can be unlearned and replaced with purposeful action.

At some point, we all need help. We all need support to grow and become our best version.

Maybe what’s holding you back right now isn’t procrastination—but if it is, know that it’s treatable. And if this message isn’t for you, please share it with someone who might need the reminder.

Procrastination isn’t a flaw. It’s your brain begging for safety. Here's what 73% of people don't realize about putting things off: Your procrastination style reveals your solution. 1. The Perfectionist Path ↳ You fear imperfection ↳ You stall at the start ↳ Solution: Embrace "...
