The Student Health Center provides primary health care services for UNCG students, as well as convenient care for UNCG faculty and staff. As a health organization operating within an academic institution, Student Health Services is committed to the support of the educational, research, and service missions of the university. The Medical Clinic provides include: Primary Medical Care, Women’s Health (i.e. Annual Exams, Contraceptive Management), Blood Pressure Checks, Immunizations, Allergy Injections, Flu Shots, Laboratory & Digital X-Ray, Psychiatric Care, Pharmacy Services (i.e. Online Refill, OTC, Prescription Counseling), Nurse Clinic, Sports Medicine. The Counseling Center provides a wide range of counseling and psychological services to currently enrolled UNCG students. The services may include: short term individual counseling, group therapy, crisis intervention, psychiatric services, consultation, and outreach activities. The Wellness Center provides programs and resources to increase student awareness of wellness issues. Programs include but are limited to AlcoholEdu for all first year students; alcohol and other drugs, body image, eating disorders, healthy and unhealthy relationships, nutrition, sexual health, sexual assault, and stress management education. The Wellness Center offers massage therapy, acupuncture, and nutrition counseling by appointment. Student Health Service’s main concern is the health of our students. Therefore, if we are unable to provide a service, we offer outside referral. DEPARTMENTAL CONTACT:

Student Health Services Pharmacy is located on the main entrance level. We have a wide variety of over-the-counter medications available for purchase. No need to worry about the cost. Students can place charges on their student account until the end of the semester.

All UNCG students are welcome and eligible to receive services at the Student Health Center. The Student Health Center is the primary physician for those students covered under the campus endorsed StudentBlue plan. Services are covered at 100% minus a $15 co-pay for pharmacy prescriptions.
