Allegro offers Parkinson's Drumming on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month at 11:00 in the Fellowship Hall of Presbyterian Church of the Covenant 501 S. Mendenhall St. Greensboro 27403. It's great fun and we address the following goals.

- Movement/Strength
- Cognitive
- Social/Emotional

Hello summer vacation! Our friends at Impact Journey School are wrapping up for the summer. Nothing like a dance party to celebrate the musical school year we had. Can't wait for music day to pick back up in the fall!

Happy Spring!

Here at Allegro we decided to ring in the spring by cleaning instruments and learning about new ones with our friends at After Gateway Inc. We changed guitar strings, learned how to play over 10 instruments, and even helped Ashley care for her french horn.

Allegro Music Therapy and Educational Services prides itself on not only delivering both individualized and group therapies, but also educating our clients on different types of music and instruments!

On Saturday Allegro Music Therapy and Education Services had the honor of attending an event for kiddos with special needs at the Sudan House.

The Sudan House Global Corporation is dedicated to enrich the lives of immigrants, refuges, and underserved communities in Greensboro and the surrounding areas all while fostering cultural connections and supporting local businesses. Their key initiatives provide education, healthcare, and essential support for those in need.

We are forever grateful that Amani and her team of leaders invited us to spend some time with the families and make some music. There was a wonderful blend of American and Sudanese culture and music. We had a wonderful time making music and having fun with the kiddos and their families who came despite the rain. Our next step is to start learning some Sudanese rhythms!

Thank you again to Amani and the families that welcomed us in and made music with us. Hope to have some more fun in the future!
