I just can’t do it! I can’t have a space that’s not filled to the top with beautiful, magical, unique things. But I do imagine people that have a taste for fewer things have a much easier time with dusting. So they have that going for them! 😘✨

Now the thing is, how do we switch from the world we create in our mind to living in the present of what’s actually happening… You gotta catch yourself in it, notice where your thoughts are, then really put yourself back in the present moment of your life. Find the small things, the things that are ok. The things that are calm and where there is peace. Grab onto it, even if for just a minute. Notice that. The next day you might be able to notice the peace in the present for a little longer. It’s a practice. It will take time. 💙

For kids and adults alike! Mostly adults tho, kids are more accepting of imperfections in the creative processes. It’s as they age that they part ways with a more freeing ability to make art. It don’t gotta be perfect baby! But it should be done. Creative expression is self care. The more hot mess express it is, the better! Let it out.

Sanctuary Holistic Healing, LLC, Anna Smith Owner organized the best day of self care in honor of her mom. Anna led us through some of her amazing ceremonial work and sound healing. Tracy Christian helped us make THE CUTEST intention jars, I read cards for some amazing women and Shadowhaus Counseling & Holistic Wellness LLC offered some messages of insight.
