I got new lights in my studio so naturally I had to take a bunch of pictures of them. 🤩 Reversed 6 of Swords - a road block of sorts, stuck, not moving forward…probably of my own making. Road blocks are often in the mind and not a reality. And last, pipe cleaners. Don’t freakin knock ‘em till you play with them while you’re talking it out. The kitschy crafters fidget toy... and the colors are a whole vibe.

My very favorite quote (along with the classics like “Nobody puts Baby in a corner.” & “Be a lot cooler if you did.”) And in regard to the music I chose for this…I’m a John Mayer fan because he’s in Dead & Co. and is pretty freakin impressive.

Worrying won’t do anything except give you a belly ache and all sorts of other problems. Make a plan, take an action or make a deal with yourself to set the worry thoughts aside until tomorrow. Then maybe when you wake up in the morning things won’t feel so heavy.

As therapists we sit with a lot of people through hard times. We get to see the great joy in this time of year while knowing that so many are going through rough patches of life. A time when hurt is masked by the sparkle of the season. May you all a find a little happiness in the hard, a little glimmer of joy in the day, and continue to carry hope for peace in your heart. ♥️
