Do you base your decisions on the opinions of others and what they might think?

Back before I was a transformation coach, when it came to making decisions, I often found myself thinking about whether I was influenced by what others might say or think.

Honestly, there’s a lot to consider.

On one side, getting input from others—like friends, family, or colleagues—can be super helpful.

They often bring up things I might not have thought about, and it’s nice to feel like I’m not alone in figuring things out.

Plus, they usually want what's best for me, which is comforting.

But then I would wonder, if I rely too much on what others think, does that mean I'm not being true to myself?

Sometimes I would worry about letting others down or not fitting into what’s expected, and that could lead me to make choices that didn’t really reflect what I truly wanted or believed.

What I realized was it’s all about finding a balance.

I realized it’s important to listen to my own instincts as much as the advice I got from others.

It’s like blending their insights with my own values so that I could make choices that actually felt right for me.

At the end of the day, it was about meshing the advice with my own gut feelings, crafting a path that felt genuinely me.

Your reality is- whatever you choose it to be!

Lemme explain:

Let's say two people are riding in a vehicle. The driver is hyper-aware and the passenger is not paying much attention.

The driver sees a blue car drive by and says to the passenger, "Hey, did you see that car? It was so nice!"

The passenger did not see the car so she states, "What car? I didn't see a car. There was no car."

Who's right?

They are BOTH right. The driver physically saw the car so her recollection includes the visual of the car. The passenger, however was focused elsewhere so when she recalls her memory, there is no car in her visualization.

They were simultaneously in the same place, yet their reality differed.

You create your reality with every thought and every action.
