Obituary

Roberto Vega was born on June 6, 1963, in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico. He was known for his humor, his generous heart, and his natural talent for solving problems—there was truly nothing he couldn’t figure out. Roberto was hardworking, devoted, and always ready to help anyone in need. He had a passion for fishing, enjoying the peace of the water and the time spent with loved ones. His greatest joy was his family, for whom he would do anything.

He is survived by his loving wife, Blanca Vega; his son, Robert Vega Jr.; his daughter, Nancy Vega; and his cherished granddaughter, Ava Hunter. His love, wisdom, and joy will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

Family Tribute

We will always remember Roberto for the way he could bring a smile to any face and find a solution to any problem. His love was steady, his hands were always ready to help, and his heart was full of kindness. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, generosity, and love that will live on through his family and friends. We will also remember his fishing days—where he found peace, happiness, and often, a great story to tell.

Fue conocido por su sentido del humor, su corazón generoso y su talento natural para resolver problemas; realmente no había nada que él no pudiera encontrar la manera de hacer. Roberto fue trabajador, dedicado y siempre dispuesto a ayudar a quien lo necesitara. Le apasionaba la pesca, disfrutando de la tranquilidad del agua y de esos momentos compartidos con sus seres queridos. Su mayor alegría era su familia, por la cual haría cualquier cosa.

Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Blanca Vega; su hijo, Robert Vega Jr.; su hija, Nancy Vega; y su querida nieta, Ava Hunter. Su amor, sabiduría y alegría permanecerán en los corazones de todos los que lo conocieron.

Ms. Evelyn Moreno resident of Greenville, Texas departed this life on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at Hunt County Hospital in Greenville, Texas at the age of 76. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Evelyn was born in Parkin, Arkansas on February 21, 1949 the daughter of Robert Stanford and Margaret Louise (Payton) Forrester.

Evelyn was retired and she was humbleness, nurtured, a Christian had a big heart, she loved to listen to music and dance with her grandkids. Evelyn had 10 brothers and sisters who she loved dearly.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Tommy, Jimmy, James, Robert Forrester; and two sisters, Johnnie Leslie and Anna Davis.

She was survived by her loving two sons Mark Bones and wife Jennifer of Greenville, and Tommy of Garland and three brothers, Terry Forrester and wife Lisa Heber Springs; Bobby Forrester and wife Kay of Vandale; David Forrester and wife Annette of Heber Springs and a sister Linda Crumley and husband, Danny, of Heber Springs; 7 grandchildren, Samuel, Nathan, Ty, TJ, Kelsey, Kandyce, and Hayley; 6 great grandkids; Dominic, Symere, Alex, Everlee, Enzlee, and Ezekiel and host of other relatives and friends.

Helen J. Steward was born to Robert L. Robertson and Vavoline Dixon on January 31, 1949. Helen joined Friendly Memorial Full Gospel Baptist Church where she met Rev. Frank Steward, Jr. Helen fellowshipped with Set Free Deliverance Church and Jesus Pentecostal House of Prayer. Helen finally settled and became a faithful member of Non Denominational Deliverance church under the leadership of Pastor Travis and Arlene Tasby which is where her membership resided until the Lord called her home.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents, Robert L. Robertson and Vavoline Dixon Robertson ; siblings, Dorothy Mae Howard, Charlene Carter, and Jimmy Clyde.

Helen leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Frank Steward, Jr.; two sons, Robert Robinson, Sr. (Natasha), and Elvis Robinson (Tameka); three step-daughters:
Gina, Freddie Mae and Cora; Her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Zavien D'Juan Smallwood was born on March 2, 2006 to the proud parentage of Hennessey Lé'Nette Smallwood and Shamell Barron Lucas.

A Time to plant
Getting and Education was a big deal in our family. So while growing up in Greenville, Zavien
attended Greenvile ISD where he received his high school diploma .

A Time to Love
Zavien was full of Life and Loved by everyone he came in Contact with. “Fat Fat -Baby Mu” had lots of friends and loved hanging around with them. Most of all he loved his family.
