Family First has suffered a tremendous loss today.

Our beloved Angela “Angi” Poppleton, intake coordinator and, in her words, “everything else as deemed necessary by management,” passed away after a courageous and hard-fought battle with cancer.

Angi was the true definition of a prayer warrior. She was a woman of deep faith, strength, and unwavering dedication. A loyal employee, a fierce friend, and a shining light in our office. Angi had a presence that brought peace, kindness, and joy to everyone she encountered. If you ever called our office, you likely heard her familiar voice with a smile you could feel:
“It’s a great day at Family First Home Health, how can I help you?”

She has been with us since day one—long before, actually—and was an irreplaceable part of our Family First family. Her absence will be felt in every corner of our organization, both emotionally and professionally.

We are deeply grateful to our hospice team, Cori and Nikki, for the exceptional care they provided to Angi in her final hours. We know how difficult it must have been to care for a dear friend and colleague. Your love and compassion did not go unnoticed.

Please keep Angi’s family, friends, and our entire team in your prayers as we navigate this profound loss. Heaven gained a true angel today.
