It’s simply the practice of paying attention to the present moment — noticing thoughts, feelings, and surroundings without judgment.

Why is it helpful?
Mindfulness gives you tools to calm your body, focus your mind, and handle stress in healthier ways. With practice, these short skills can turn tough moments into opportunities for growth and calm.

Women are at higher risk: 5.2% vs. 1.8% in males. Lifetime risk is nearly three times higher for women.
Nearly 50% see improvement within 6 weeks.

This is Wendy, the mental health counselor here at Curis Functional Health Greenville, and I've noticed so many moms coming into my chair in tears, worried about their kids. They put their kiddos in counseling with me (which is my jam), but they ignore their own needs!

Here's a little secret....by supporting yourself, you support your kids! I'm offering a 2-session individual counseling "boot camp" for Mom Anxiety. Your needs are real and valid! Take 2 hours out of your schedule with the kids back in school and prioritize your mental health.
