Each day I’m being more intentional about how I wake up.
No more rolling over and diving headfirst into chaos.
Maybe I’ll check the time, but the doom-scroll? Nah.

The war ain’t just outside — it’s on our nervous systems.
From international trauma to local madness, celeb drama to AI conspiracies… our phones will have us shook before we even brush our teeth. And let’s not even talk about the curated feeds that still manage to sneak in mess. 😮‍💨

I realized: My peace deserves better.
So here’s how I’ve been reclaiming my mornings:
📝 Morning pages
🎨 Coloring
🏃🏿‍♀️ Movement or walking
📚 Audiobooks or quiet reading
🎧 Creating or viewing calming AI artwork

It doesn’t have to be perfect—just intentional.

What are you doing to keep your nervous system from spiraling before 9am? 🫶🏿

Posted • As Yolanda Williams takes the reins as national president of the South Carolina State University National Alumni Association (SCSUNAA), she is bringing with her a message of gratitude, unity and purpose.

Williams, a 1995 SC State graduate, said she plans to expand the association’s outreach by growing membership, increasing participation, and strengthening ties with the university and elected officials.

From digital engagement to campus support, her priorities reflect a focus on relevance and inclusion.

“As your national president, I want to make sure our association feels welcoming, relevant and energized — no matter where you live, when you graduated or how connected you feel today,” she said. “This is about creating space for every Bulldog to get involved and make a difference.”

I posted this on Mother’s Day two years ago, and it still holds true:
Self-care isn’t something you earn—it’s something you schedule.
Because when life starts lifing, your nervous system needs backup.

That’s why I created the Manifestation Planner for Women in Leadership—to give us space to lead without losing ourselves.
Pages for reflection, self-care, vision, and those quiet check-ins we often skip.

Your peace deserves to be on the calendar too.

This little anchor charm means a lot to me. A reminder of joy, travel, freedom. But it stays getting stuck on everything—my sweaters, loose threads, even my own movement.

It hit me: even the things we love most can become entanglements when we’re holding too tightly.

Today, it’s a reminder to move with ease. To unclench. To let go of what no longer needs gripping.

“You only lose what you cling to.” – Buddha

Sometimes the breakthrough doesn’t come from pushing harder—
It comes when you pause, breathe, and remember who tf you are.
I inhale peace. I welcome wholeness. I walk in divine protection.
If you’re in your soft reset era too… this one’s for you.

Drop a “peace” in the comments if this felt like a hug.

Happy Pi Day to all my fellow overthinkers, STEM baddies, and people who just really love an excuse to eat pie.

You know what’s wild about π = 3.141592653…?
• It never ends.
• It never repeats.
• It just keeps going—kind of like my brain at 2 AM when I’m supposed to be sleeping.

But since we are not infinite numbers (or robots), let me put you on to a Pi Day Productivity Hack that actually works:

✨ The “3-1-4” Method ✨
✅ 3 quick wins to build momentum (knock out the easy stuff first!)
🎯 1 big priority that actually moves the needle
🧹 4 tiny tasks to clear the mental clutter

This keeps your brain engaged without spiraling into decision paralysis or getting lost in the ADHD abyss. Because unlike Pi, we do not need to go on forever.

So tell me—what’s your 3-1-4 today? Drop your top task in the comments! (And if your “1” is eating pie, I fully support that.)

Industry standard and what a lot of folks receive when they are ordering pre-made bracelets are sizes 6.5” to 7”. All wrists are not made the same! So, we at AiramoSoul created a sizing guide to be able to serve all of our clients better. Use this size chart when ordering your bracelet to ensure it fits just right!

You ever notice how the hardest decisions—the ones that make your stomach do somersaults—are the ones that lead to the biggest shifts?

Most people avoid discomfort like it’s a red flag. But here’s the truth: Discomfort is not danger. Discomfort is data.

Meet the Green Buttonwood tree—a plant that thrives in harsh conditions, salty air, and shifting tides. It doesn’t crumble under pressure; it adapts. Its roots dig deep. Its wood is so dense and strong that even intense storms can’t break it.

And that’s exactly the energy you need when you’re making a tough decision.
• You’re debating whether to step into a leadership role? That discomfort isn’t telling you “no.” It’s telling you that growth is happening.
• You know you need to set that boundary, but it feels awkward? That’s the tension of change—your nervous system recalibrating to a new standard.
• You want to restructure your work schedule, but the unknown makes you hesitate? That fear isn’t proof you’re doing the wrong thing—it’s proof you’re expanding.

The Green Buttonwood doesn’t ask for perfect conditions—it makes them.
And so do you.

Your discomfort is a sign you’re building something solid. Stay rooted. Trust your own resilience. Move forward.

Drop a 🌱 in the comments if you’re ready to embrace the discomfort and grow.

You’ve always been the one who had it all together—the daughter who never brought home a bad grade, never caused trouble, and never needed reminders to get things done. You were the responsible one, the independent one, the problem-solver. You figured it out on your own, time and time again.

But now, with the weight of the world and the uncertainty of the future sometimes clouding your mind, it feels different. The existential crises hit harder, and doubt lingers. But here’s the thing—you’ve been through this before. Even when things feel overwhelming, you always find a way. Not all at once, not perfectly, but you handle it because you’ve built that muscle. You always rise, and that’s your superpower.

As women in STEM, we often show up in our best light, bringing our A-game to everything we do. But the universe has a way of testing us—seeing how people will treat us when we’re not at our peak.

Will they support us, respect us, and stand by us even before we reach our full potential? That’s how we separate the real from the fake.

The true measure of respect and trust comes before we “make it”—when we’re still growing, learning, and evolving. Stay true to yourself, and trust that the right people will see your worth, even in the process. 💫
