--There is a newly identified synthetic opioid, Cychlorphine, that has emerged in SC.
--Initial toxicology results can come back negative despite signs consistent with a possible overdose.
--This is a synthetic opioid that is ten to forty times more potent than fentanyl!
--Overdoses involving Cychlorphine may require multiple doses of naloxone, commonly known as Narcan, to reverse.

A newly identified synthetic opioid, Cychlorphine, is raising alarms in South Carolina for its potency, potentially exceeding fentanyl's strength by up to 40 times.
