Today’s milestone: return-to-run for our CG baseball athlete. ⚾️
He first came to us non-operatively with very specific groin and abdominal pain. During his evaluation and early rehab, certain patterns stood out that didn’t fully align with typical strains—so we recommended further testing. We’re incredibly glad we did, because it revealed an abdominal tear (sports hernia) that required surgical repair.

He underwent surgery, got the permanent fix he needed, and has been attacking his rehab ever since. Now he’s building speed, strength, and confidence as we ramp him back up for a huge senior season and the start of his collegiate career.

Proud of his resilience, trust in the process, and the work he puts in every session. The comeback is well underway!

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥.

Most athletes never go through one major surgery.
Alex Jarvis went through two in back-to-back weeks — a hip labral repair followed immediately by a hamstring repair — and somehow found a way to stay committed, patient, and unshakeably disciplined.

In his own words, this journey was about perseverance, showing up when it didn’t feel good, and believing that “getting 1% better” was the only way through.

When asked what he did in rehab to get back on the field, Alex didn’t talk about talent or speed.
He talked about consistency, doing the little things, learning how to move again, trusting the process, and putting his full belief in his care team.

And now?
He says he’s more confident than before the injury — in his strength, his movement, and his ability to play freely.
That confidence didn’t happen on accident. It came from the complete integration of Milestone Physical Therapy + Performance— mobility, strength, speed, recovery, and the day-to-day care that rebuilt him brick by brick.

Big milestone moment for our Milestone crew! Last week was Dave’s last week at our Greenwood location as he officially transitions to full-time at our Fishers clinic. We’re so grateful for his hard work, dedication, and the impact he’s made on the south side. While we’re sad we won’t get to work with him every day, our north side team and patients are gaining an absolute rockstar. 🤍
