We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Kaitlyn Harris to the role of Assistant Administrator at GVS!
Kaitlyn’s journey with us began in 2019 when she joined the team as a part-time Server. Her leadership skills and strong work ethic quickly stood out, paving the way for her growth within the organization. Over the years, Kaitlyn has earned multiple promotions—first to Lead Server, then Kitchen Supervisor, and later Certified Dietary Manager. In that role, she successfully oversaw operations in both the Pavilion and Manor kitchens.
Kaitlyn graduated from the University of Indianapolis with her bachelor’s degree in December 2024. Shortly after, she entered the Administrator in Training (AIT) program, spending the past year gaining hands-on experience across all departments to understand how they work together to create a thriving community. During her AIT, Kaitlyn also took on significant responsibilities, including leading the renovation of our Sycamore neighborhood in the Pavilion and spearheading our partnership with Central Nine Career Center to host CNA clinicals at GVS.
This month, Kaitlyn successfully passed her examinations to become a state and federally licensed Healthcare Administrator. In her new role as Assistant Administrator, she will support Pam Seegers in overseeing budgets, policies, and regulatory compliance for our healthcare areas.
Kaitlyn has earned the respect of her peers through her dedication, professionalism, and willingness to take on challenges. Please join us in congratulating Kaitlyn on this well-deserved achievement and welcoming her into her new role!
