We had a fun morning in Kids Yoga with an Ocean/Beach theme. We talked about how meditation can help us find calm when our minds or emotions are stormy. We got our bodies moving and did sun salutations, practiced mindfulness with toega, creating pictures with our pompoms, and doing the pom pom poppers! We did some fun partner poses, got some core work in with passing the beach ball around with their feet, and had a lovely savasana with a guided meditation to our peaceful garden. Our pranayama was our Ocean breath. The kiddies were slow to come out of their peaceful gardens! See ya next Wednesday at 9:15 am!
