Myopia, also known as nearsightedness, is a condition where far-away objects appear blurry. It’s becoming increasingly common in children and often progresses as they grow.

Higher levels of myopia can increase the risk of serious eye conditions.

Signs to watch for:
• Squinting
• Sitting too close to screens
• Complaints of blurry distance vision
• Frequent headaches

It is commonly believed that watering eyes means you are producing too many tears. Today we are debunking that myth!

Watery eyes are frequently caused by underlying dryness rather than excessive moisture. The eye is actually overcompensating for the inadequate lubrication. This is known as “reflex tearing.”
